The analysis of technology of drilling with roller bits on the Carpathian foreland area in the years 1995-2011
    (2014) Rzyczniak, Mirosław; Rajchel, Grzegorz
In the article, there has been described results of the statistical analysis lead towards two groups of roller bits, with bit teeth, with diameters 0,216 m and 0,4445 m produced by Drilling Equipment and Device Company »GLINIK«. Using these bits, there had been conducted a process of drilling holes on the Carpathian foreland area in the years 1995-2011. According to the analysis of a dispersion of measure points it was assigned linear regression equations and lead significance tests for values of the correlation factors and linear regression factors, drilling technology parameters dependency (weight on bit, rotational speed, product of normalized weight on bit and rotational speed, drilling mud capacity flow rate) and bit performances (rebore, drilling time, average rate of penetration), since the year in which analyzed bits were used. The results of the researches has been showed in the form of charts of dispersion of measure points with lines and regression equations and lines of confidence intervals. The results of significance tests for correlation factors and linear regression factors has been inserted in tables. The purpose of lead analyses were acquiring information about changes of drilling technology parameters in a long period of time and about their influence on bit performances' values.

Analysis of Drill Stem Test (DST) results at Osobnica oil field, in terms of sampling of selected technology parameters
(2017) Dubiel, Stanisław; Rzyczniak, Mirosław; Solecki, Marek; Maruta, Michał
In this paper results of DST tests obtained in two wells at Osobnica oil field are presented. At the same time there were analyzed and reinterpreted the conditions of these results from the selection of technological parameters and geological conditions. The results of this analysis have been developed in conclusions.

Reinterpretation of the results of the two-cycle reservoir test of the Mesozoic water-bearing deposits in the W-3 well in terms of assessing the changes in rock permeability in the zones tested with a drill stem tester
(Wydawnictwa AGH, 2018) Dubiel, Stanisław; Rzyczniak, Mirosław; Solecki, Marek
The article presents the results of the reinterpretation of the results of the two-cycle DST of the Mesozoic strata in the W-3 well to assess the changes in permeability of reservoir rocks in the test zone. Two-dimensional diagrams of the first and second pressure restoration curves in the semi-logarithm coordinate system were taken into account. The determined linear regression equations of these sections give simultaneously the extrapolated value of the reservoir pressure and the directional coefficient. The »logarithmic approximation« method used in hydrogeology was used to determine the radius of the perimeter zone with altered permeability of the water-bearing rocks of the Mesozoic.

Creation of the environment of wetlands with the use of drainage
    (2015) Rzyczniak, Mirosław; Rzyczniak, Anna
In the article there was represented the example of a project concerning dehydration of agricultural lands located in Rzozów in the area of Skawina commune, administrative district of Kraków in Małopolska, around 16 km long distant to the west – south from the city centre of Kraków. The analised land is being under the disadvantageous hydro and air conditions, what results in the significant decrease of grounds quality and plants crops as the consequence. In order to improve the quality of grounds and dehydrate the excess of water, there was designed a dehydration system consisted of open drainage ditches and underground drainage network. The aim of those operations is to improve the ground structure quality and it’s access to air, thus to increase the plants crops from the presented area. There were lead numerous calculations such as hydrological calculations, hydraulic calculations in order to define type and height of drainage ditches consolidation and the height of collector mouths over the ditch bottom, calculations of drains spacing and the excavation capacity. As the final effect, it was assumed to excavate two drainage ditches, one on the northern side and one on the southern side of the area. The network of drains and collector connected to the ditches is to drain off the spare water from the considered land.

Properties of processed drilling wastes from the factory of ecological labours in Tarnogród
(2016) Rzyczniak, Mirosław; Czekaj, Lucyna; Cabala, Ewelina; Rzyczniak, Anna
The following publication presents the results of laboratory testing of drilling wastes’, so called filter cakes, physical and mechanical features, that are utilized in the Factory of Ecological Labors in Tarnogród. This kind of waste is obtained from filtration process lead on processed drilling fluids, in the cellular filter press. As a result of lead tests, granulometric composition of tested ground, some basic and secondary physical features (water (moisture) content, bulk density, liquid limit, plastic limit, plastic index, liquidity index, consistency index), swelling sensibility (swelling curve, swelling coefficient, swelling index, swelling water content) and compressibility (consolidation curve, compressibility curve, edometric compressibility modules). There were defined filtration features (filtration coefficients, filtration curve) and shear strength of soil (shear strength curve, angle of shearing resistance, cohesion). Tests results were presented as charts and tables. Characteristic of the filtered processed drilling fluid waste/filter cakes was based on the achieved results.

Analysis of drill stem testing technology of the Malm carbonate rocks of the Carpathian Foothills, in the aspect of geological research and exploration decisions
(2013) Dubiel, Stanisław; Rzyczniak, Mirosław; Godula, Anna; Maruta, Michał
Gas-, oil- and water-bearing Upper Jurassic formations (Malm) in the area of the Carpathian Foothills are built from carbonate reservoir rocks with vuggy-fracture porosity system (or fracture-vuggy), which absolute porosity is from a few to several percent. At the end of the twentieth century DST tests provided a lot of reliable reservoir information, on which the important decisions for geological research and exploration, can be taken. The credibility of these tests results depends largely on the technology used. The paper presents the results of three selected DST tests, differing in technology, particularly with attention to the usefulness of the obtained information in explorations for hydrocarbon deposits process.
