Spalanie biomasy w dedykowanych kotłach energetycznych na przykładzie Zielonego Bloku w Elektrowni Połaniec

Abstract

In this dissertation are presented two aspects of energetic burning biomass in Połaniec Power Plant. First of all attempted to show whole history of use this renewable energy source starting from: booting the project “Biomass-fuel energy” in 2002, by the year 2003, in which started the first tests of co-firing of coal and biomass, and then the formation in the next years new installations of storage, preparation and supply of forest biomass and agriculture biomass, until the launch of the Green Block (in the end of 2012). All of these actions were a direct response to the changing regulations in Poland (directives issued by the European Union and the regulations of the Minister of economy in Poland). The second aspect was to look at the whole technological process, consisting of the energy use of biomass. Such as: transportation to the storage, warehousing, processing and preparation for combustion, transportation to individual blocks, dosing for boilers and combustion itself. They were analyzed both systems used for co-firing of biomass with coal and used only by the Green Block. In the final part of dissertation has been presented and analyzed each system comprising the Green Block. W pracy przedstawione zostały dwa aspekty związane z energetycznym spalaniem biomasy w Elektrowni Połaniec. Po pierwsze starano się prześledzić całą historię wykorzystywania tego odnawialnego źródła energii począwszy od: wystartowania projektu „Biomasa- paliwo energetyczne” w 2002 roku, przez rok 2003, w którym to ruszyły pierwsze testy współspalania węgla z biomasą, a następnie powstawanie w kolejnych latach nowych instalacji składowania, przygotowania i podawania biomasy leśnej i agro, aż do momentu oddania do użytku Zielonego Bloku (koniec 2012 roku). Wszystkie te działania były bezpośrednią reakcją na zmieniające się w Polsce przepisy (dyrektywy wydawane przez Unię Europejską, a także rozporządzenia Ministra Gospodarki). Drugim aspektem było przyjrzenie się całemu procesowi technologicznemu składającym się na energetyczne wykorzystanie biomasy. Są to: transport do miejsca składowania, magazynowanie, obróbka i przygotowanie do spalania, transport do poszczególnych bloków, dozowanie do kotłów oraz samo spalanie. Przeanalizowano zarówno systemy wykorzystywane do wspólnego spalania biomasy z węglem jak i systemy wykorzystywane wyłącznie przez Zielony Blok. W końcowej części pracy przedstawione i przeanalizowane zostały poszczególne systemy składające się na Zielony Blok.
