Zmiany środowiska po 11 latach eksploatacji zespołu zbiorników wodnych Czorsztyn-Niedzica i Sromowce Wyżne

Abstract

In the thesis there is presented the evironmental impact assesment of the Czorsztyn- Niedzica and Sromowce Wyżne reservoir system eleven years after exploitation.The focus of this study is on the current state of the environment.The substantial part of the thesis comprises a detailed report on the environmental changes in the area around the water bodies in the last eleven years. The formation of these water bodies has had a negative effect on the spieces diversity and natural habitat of the area. Negative changes in the structure of land utilization has taken place, the natural landscape has undergone rapid changes due to the utilization of the banks. What is more, there have been changes in the water proportion, local microclimate and in the lay of the land and soil. There have been some positive changes as well such as creating new sewage treatment plants in the area, increase in environmental awarness and preventing floods due to gathering the excess of water and levelling the water flow in the upper area of Dunajec River. Some of the environmental changes around the researched area will be noticable in several dozen years, therefore an adequate steps must be taken to reduce the negative influence of the project on the environment. W pracy zaprezentowana jest ocena oddziaływania zespołu zbiorników wodnych w 11 lat od rozpoczęcia eksploatacji. Przedstawiony został aktualny stan środowiska. Obszerną część pracy stanowi dokładne omówienie zmian środowiskowych jakie nastąpiły w ciągu 11 lat na obszarze wokół zbiorników. Powstanie zbiorników obniżyło różnorodność gatunkową i siedliskową zalanego obszaru. Nastąpiły niekorzystne zmiany w strukturze użytkowania ziemi, naturalny krajobraz uległ szybkim zmianom w wyniku zagospodarowania brzegów i obrzeży. Zmianie uległy stosunki wodne, lokalny mikroklimat oraz ukształtowanie terenu i gleby. Do pozytywnych zmian zalicza się powstanie nowych oczyszczalni ścieków na badanym terenie, wzrost świadomości ekologicznej, zapobieganie powodziom poprzez gromadzenie nadmiaru wody oraz wyrównanie przepływów w górnej zlewni rzeki Dunajec. Niektóre zmiany jakie zachodzą w środowisku wokół badanego obszaru będą widoczne dopiero za kilkadziesiąt lat, dlatego należy prowadzić działania, które maja na celu zmniejszenie niekorzystnego wpływu inwestycji na środowisko.
