Description

Abstract

Czynniki środowiskowe (wskaźnik ODP i GWP) uzasadniają wykorzystanie czynnika R601a i R1234yf.

An example model of Organic Rankine Cycle (ORC) binary geothermal power plant. Efficiency analysis according to the parameters of working fluid – temperature, pressure and mass flow. Basic elements of geothermal power plant – evaporator, turbine, condenser, pump. Comparison of working fluids - R438A, R422A, R22M and mixed R1234yf and R601a, results for geothermal water temperature 90oC, pressure 1600 kPa, water flow 300 m3/h. Best results for R601a fluid - 13,94% (fluid pressure 550 kPa, pinch point temperature difference 2 K). For R1234yf – efficiency 11,48% in pressure 2380 kPa, efficiences for the rest - R22M - 10,42%, R438A - 10,15%, R422A - 9,53%, achieved at high pressure – near 3 MPa. Because of the best efficiency and the highest theoretical turbine power, R601a fluid is selected as optimal. According to environmental protection, R601a and R1234yf are the best solutions, because of the lowest ODP and GWP factors.
