Transformations in the natural environment resulting from the mine's activities are in accordance with the principles of sustainable development. The consequence of these activities is the competitiveness of the brown coal-based electricity production. Kopalnia »Konin« od ponad 60 lat działa w regionie konińskim, przyczyniając się do jego znaczącej roli w kraju. Działalność ta powoduje przekształcanie środowiska naturalnego z zachowaniem zasad zrównoważonego rozwoju. Konsekwencją tych działań jest konkurencyjność produkcji energii elektrycznej produkowanej na bazie węgla brunatnego.
