Description

Abstract

Harmunite (ideally $CaFe_{2}O_{4}$) was found in the natural environment for the first time in 2014 in pyrometamorpic larnite rocks of the Hatrurim Complex that lies near Jabel Harmun – moutain located in Judean Desert, Israel – from which it derives its name (Galuskina et al. 2014).
