Analiza pracy elektrowni szczytowo-pompowej Porąbka-Żar

Abstract

W projekcie inżynierskim została omówiona elektrownia szczytowo-pompowa Porąbka - Żar. Podana została jej budowa, charakterystyka parametrów technicznych, pokazano typ pracujących tam pompo-turbin. Zebrano dane z produkcji energii elektrycznej w ciągu roku i wykazano opłacalność budowy tego typu elektrowni. Pokazano również funkcje, jakie spełnia w systemie elektroenergetycznym kraju. Omówiono również szanse rozwoju elektrowni szczytowo-pompowych w Polsce oraz w Europie.

The project focuses on Porąbka - Żar Pumped Storage Power Plant. It was given the information about its construction, the characteristics of the technical parameters and the type of equipment working there. A data were collected from electricity production over the year. Then, it was demonstrated the profitability of building this type of power plant. It was also shown the pumped storage power plant’s functions in power system of the country. Finally, it was discussed the chances of developing pumped storage in Poland and Europe.
