The valley of the Poprad River represents the largest »bottling basin« of carbonated mineral waters in Poland. There are 14 bottling plants, situated in eight localities. The plants utilize natural mineral waters, natural spring waters, therapeutic waters and table waters with 29 trade names. A sudden increase of bottling took place in 1990s, accelerated first of all by introducing PET bottles.en
