Ocena stanu środowiska w Nadleśnictwie Rybnik w świetle badań dendrochronologicznych

Abstract

Celem pracy jest ocena stanu środowiska w Nadleśnictwie Rybnik w świetle badań dendrochronologicznych sosen z czterech oddziałów leśnych. Uzyskane wyniki przedstawiają czasowo – przestrzenny rozkład redukcji szerokości przyrostów rocznych sosen porastających silnie uprzemysłowiony Rybnicki Okręg Węglowy. Największą liczbę drzew z redukcjami odnotowano w dwóch stanowiskach w latach 1960 – 1990 (do 100% badanych drzew). Największe redukcje i największa ilość słoi wypadających odnotowana została w stanowisku Ornontowice, położonym na północny – wschód od źródeł zanieczyszczeń na linii dominujących wiatrów zachodnich. Niekorzystne warunki meteorologiczne w postaci mroźnych zim również zaznaczały się w postaci wąskich przyrostów.

The aim of the study is the assessment of the environmental conditions in the Rybnik Forest Inspectorate in the light of dendrochronological analysis of pines from four forest stands. The results obtained show time and spatial distribution of the reduction of annual growths width of pines growing in the strongly industrialized Rybnik Coal Area. The largest number of trees with reductions is reported in two research plots in the years 1960 - 1990 (up to 100% of the trees). The strongest reductions and the greatest amount of missing rings were recorded in the Ornontowice plot, situated north - east of the sources of pollution, on the line of prevailing westerly winds. Unfavourable weather conditions in the form of cold winters also have indicated in the form of narrow rings .
