Wykorzystanie kuchenki mikrofalowej do oznaczania wilgotności gruntów drobnoziarnistych

Abstract

Praca przedstawia możliwość wykorzystania kuchenki mikrofalowej do oznaczenia wilgotności gruntu. Podkreślono zalety tej metody, a więc niski koszt kuchenki, krótki czas i prosta procedura oznaczania oraz dobra korelacja z wynikami otrzymanymi w metodzie suszarkowej. Badania zostały przeprowadzono na dwóch rodzajach gruntów drobnoziarnistych, zbadano ich skład granulometryczny korzystając przy tym z analizy sitowej i areometrycznej oraz ustalono nazwy gruntów. Badano wilgotność gruntu korzystając z metody mikrofalowej i porównywano z wynikami otrzymanymi w standardowej metodzie suszarkowej. Opracowano w ten sposób odpowiednią dla danego gruntu technikę i czas suszenia w kuchence mikrofalowej. Wyniki wilgotności które otrzymano były bardzo zbliżone do wyników oznaczonych w metodzie suszarkowej. Dla każdego gruntu zwiększano jego wilgotność i sprawdzano czy przyjęta procedura i czas suszenia okażą się wystarczające na dosuszenie próbki. Zaobserwowane wnioski i spostrzeżenia zostały zawarte w komentarzach do badań.

The work presents the possibility of use the microwave oven to mark the moisture content of soils. There are underlined advantages of this method and low cost of the microwave oven, short time and simple procedure or marking and also good correlation with the results gained in the drying method. The research were done on two types of fine soils. There were also research over the granulation with the use of sieve and arometry analysis where the names of the soils were determined. The study also researched the moisture content of the soils with the use of microwave method and compared with the results gained during the standard drying method. Elaborated a technique and time of drying in the microwave oven proper for each soils. The results of moisture content gained in the research were similar to the results marked during the drying method. For each soils raised its moisture content and it was checked if the proper procedure and time of drying are enough for full drying of the sample. Monitored conclusions and observations are included in the comments for the research.
