dc.description.abstractThis paper shows research of Linear Swelling Test (LST) of shale rocks under the influence of three drilling muds with different cationic polymers. Tested polymers have been synthetized at the Drilling, Oil and Gas Faculty of AGH UST Krakow. Research findings indicate that synthesized polymers as well as developed on its base drilling fluids effectively inhibit hydration and prevent the disintegration of clay formation.en
