Złoża rud $Sn$ i $W$ w Afryce Centralnej

Abstract

W pracy przedstawiono charakterystykę złóż rud cyny i wolframu występujących w Afryce Środkowej, w podziale na poszczególne państwa. Skupiono się głównie na złożach występujących w Demokratycznej Republice Konga oraz Rwandzie, związanych z pasem Kibara. Przy opisie uwzględniono geologię, tektonikę i genezę złóż, a w dalszej kolejności przybliżono aktualny stan zagospodarowania złóż rud Sn i W tego rejonu, włączając dane na temat produkcji, obecnych przedsięwzięć oraz perspektyw. Dokonano również oceny znaczenia bazy zasobowej rud cyny i wolframu w Afryce Centralnej z perspektywy zasobów światowych.

This paper provides characteristics of tin and tungsten ore deposits occuring in Central Africa, by individual countries. It focuses mainly on deposits in the Democratic Republic of Congo and Rwanda, relating to the Kibaran belt. The characteristics include geology, tectonics and origin of the deposits. Moreover, it describes a current state of development of the Sn and W ore deposits of this region, including data on existing projects and perspectives. The paper also contains an evaluation of the importance of tin and tungsten resources in Central Africa from the perspective of global resources.
