Ochrona przyrody nieożywionej zachodniej części Beskidu Niskiego

Abstract

Beskid Niski is situated in the south part of the Poland in the drainage basin of the Wisłoka and Ropa Rivers. The present the maximal lowering of the Carpathians. Is spreading over the area of the Magura Unit that represent an innermost unit of the Flisch Carpatians. However the northern sector of the mountains embraces also fragments of more external units: a north-western part of the Dukla Unit and southern segment of the Silesian Unit In a tectonic window within the Magura Unit the Grybów Unit is exposed. Each of these units displays their own characteristic development of flysch type sediments. The aim of his work is geological heritage conservation and thesis is valuation of selected objects and areas of inanimate nature.

Beskid Niski położony jest na południu Polski w obrębie zlewni rzeki Wisłoki i rzeki Ropy. Reprezentuje najniższe poprzeczne obniżenie w obrębie Karpat fliszowych. Obszar niemal w całości położony jest w obrębie płaszczowiny magurskiej, jednostka śląska zajmuje północno-wschodnie tereny, natomiast jednostki grybowska i dukielska odsłaniają się na powierzchni w postaci okien tektonicznych. Wszystkie jednostki nadają indywidualny charakter wychodnią fliszu karpackiego. W pracy zawarto opis środowiska przyrodniczego oraz wskazano unikatowe dla terenu elementy przyrody nieożywionej.
