Zastosowanie metody georadarowej do badania torfowiska Wielkie Błoto

Abstract

The theme of this work is an application of the ground-penetrating radar method to study peatbog Wielkie Błoto. This area, located in the north-western part of the Forest Niepołomicka, is an example of ecosystem dependent on groundwater. During the work carried out by using GPR ProEx system seven measuring profiles were made. The obtained results have been processed by using the Reflex programme, which is used for GPR data processing. The result was obtaining echograms, which show the internal construction of geological strates. The author of the work has attempted a preliminary interpretation of the obtained results and proved that the application is appropriate. For the interpretation of GPR measurements it is important to offer a range of experience and knowledge in this discipline.

Tematem niniejszej pracy jest zastosowanie metody georadarowej do badania torfowiska Wielkie Błoto. Obszar ten położony w północno-zachodniej części Puszczy Niepołomickiej jest przykładem ekosystemu zależnego od wód podziemnych. Podczas przeprowadzonych prac terenowych wykonano siedem profili pomiarowych przy użyciu georadaru ProEx System. Otrzymane wyniki zostały przetworzone za pomocą programu Reflex, który służy do przetwarzania danych georadarowych. Efektem było otrzymanie echogramów, które przedstawiają wewnętrzną budowę ośrodka. Autorka pracy podjęła próbę wstępnej interpretacji otrzymanych wyników i dowiodła, że zastosowana metoda jest właściwa. Do interpretacji pomiarów georadarowych istotne jest doświadczenie i spory zakres wiedzy z tej dyscypliny naukowej.
