In this paper were described the possibility of energy storage in salt caverns in Poland, using the technology CAES (Compressed Air Energy Storage), taking into account the natural conditions and parameters of existing power plants in the world. Focusing primarily on the storage part of such an installation, made initial selecting potential areas in the Poland enabling comprehensive execution of the installation - part of the ground (wind turbines, installation, gas turbine) and part of the underground (salt cavern).en
