Stan jakości wód podziemnych w rejonach antropopresji w północnej części zlewni Raby

Abstract

The paper presents the characteristics of the northern part of the Raba river catchment, with particular emphasis on Królewski Potok river. The study consisted of collecting groundwater samples and analyzing them in the laboratory of University of Science and Technology in Krakow. The representative samples were collected in the village of Biskupice and Gdów along the Królewski Potok river. The discussed area is heavily anthropogenically converted, so the study focuses on the potential contamination sources. On the basis of chemical analysis of the water the descriptive statistics were compiled, the ion balances were performed and the grades of the groundwater quality as well as chemical condition of analyzed samples was determined. The aim of the research and analysis is the assessment of groundwater quality in the catchment of Królewski Potok river based on point source pollution and surface pollution assessment. The results of laboratory tests have confirmed the poor chemical status of groundwater and they have also shown a correlation with the previous results from 7 years ago. The issue of groundwater chemical status in this area is very concerning and therefore immediate action of improving this condition should be implemented.

W niniejszej pracy przedstawiono charakterystykę północnej części zlewni Raby, gdzie skupiono się na rzece Królewski Potok. Badania polegały na poborze próbek wód podziemnych i ich analizie chemicznej w laboratorium hydrogeochemicznym Akademii Górniczo-Hutniczej w Krakowie. Reprezentatywne próbki zostały pobrane w miejscowościach Biskupice i Gdów wzdłuż biegu rzeki Królewski Potok. Opisywany teren jest silnie przekształcony antropogeniczne więc skupiono się na wytypowaniu prawdopodobnych ognisk zanieczyszczeń. Na podstawie dokonanej analizy chemicznej wód sporządzono statystyki opisowe, wykonano bilanse jonowe, a następnie ustalono klasy jakości i stany chemiczne badanych próbek. Celem pracy jest ocena jakości wód podziemnych w zlewni Królewskiego Potoku na podstawie oceny punktowej i obszarowej. Wyniki badań laboratoryjnych potwierdziły słaby stan chemiczny wód podziemnych i wykazały korelację z badaniami sprzed 7 lat. Problem stanu chemicznego wód w tym rejonie jest poważny, więc należy wdrożyć natychmiastowe działania dążące do poprawy stanu wód.
