Automation of technological processes in a coal preparation plant and useful systems and devices for monitoring of coal quality

Abstract

W referacie przedstawiono prace realizowane w Instytucie Technik Innowacyjnych EMAG w zakresie automatyzacji wybranych procesów wzbogacania węgla m.in. wzbogacania w cieczy ciężkiej czy w osadzarkach, w tym, w aspekcie zwiększenia wydajności procesów, zminimalizowania strat węgla w odpadach czy poprawy jakości produktów wzbogacania. Omówiono także opracowane w Instytucie systemy i urządzenia do pomiaru jakości węgla, zarówno do pomiarów ciągłych jak i laboratoryjnych, przydatne w monitorowaniu przebiegu procesów i kontroli podstawowych parametrów jakościowych węgla i produktów jego wzbogacania np. system ALFA-06 do ciągłego pomiaru zawartości popiołu i wilgoci w węglu czy analizator węgla GAMMA NATURA.

The paper presents works carried out at the Institute of Innovative Technology EMAG for the automation of the chosen processes of coal preparation, such as coal preparation in heavy media or in jigs, among others in terms of the process efficiency, minimizing of the loss of carbon in the waste and improvement of the quality of preparation products. The paper describes also systems and devices for coal quality measurement developed at the Institute, both for continuous and laboratory measurement, useful in monitoring of processes and basic quality parameters of coal and enrichment products for example System ALFA-06 for on-line measurement of the ash and moisture content in coal and Laboratory Analyzer GAMMA NATURA.
