Oddziaływanie wód podziemnych na ekosystemy lądowe i wodne w rejonie Bogucic

Abstract

The main aim of this thesis was to identify Groundwater Dependent Ecosystems within the Bogucice region (areas of the Niepołomicka Forest). At the beginning the definition of Groundwater Dependent Ecosystems as well as developed working methodology of their identification were provided and widely discussed. The collected data (along with the theoretical knowledge) allowed to characterize the research area including the aspects of its geomorphology, relief, hydrography, geologic structure, climatic as well as hydrologic conditions. Furthermore, fifteen ecosystems of Niepołomicka Forest were distinguished and described. On the basis of available data the quality of groundwater and the identified ecosystems was defined. Then, the main contamination sources that may pose a threat to those ecosystems were located. The conclusions of this thesis may contribute to the development of GDE by taking them under legal protection.

Celem pracy była identyfikacja ekosystemów zależnych od wód podziemnych (GDE) w rejonie Bogucic, czyli na terenach Puszczy Niepołomickiej. Na początku pracy została omówiona definicja GDE oraz opracowana metodyka ich identyfikacji. Na podstawie zebranych danych został scharakteryzowany teren badań z uwzględnieniem geomorfologii, rzeźby terenu, warunków klimatycznych, hydrografii, budowy geologicznej oraz warunków hydrogeologicznych. Zostało wyznaczonych piętnaście ekosystemów Puszczy Niepołomickiej będących obiektem badań. Na podstawie dostępnych wyników badań został określony stan wód podziemnych oraz stan zidentyfikowanych GDE. Zostały zlokalizowane ogniska zanieczyszczeń mogące zagrażać tym GDE. Wnioski z tej pracy mogą przyczynić się do poprawy stanu wyróżnionych GDE poprzez objecie ich szczególną ochroną.
