Talasoterapia jako oferta wybranych uzdrowisk nadmorskich i jej rozpoznawalność wśród turystów

Abstract

The work deals with the issue of thalassotherapy, the healing method, in which the main therapeutic factor is the sea and all the elements that are associated with it: marine climate, water and nutrients from mud like algae and seaweed. The aim of the study is to review the main directions and the healing methods offered by selected coastal health resorts: Kołobrzeg, Ustka and Sopot from the point of view of „thalasso” therapy. The first part presents an analysis of the concept of thalassotherapy and its components. The current state of the spa base is presented based on literature and data obtained on site of the practice of the researched method. The second part presents the results of conducted field studies concerning the recognition of therapy among visitors.

W pracy podjęto zagadnienie talasoterapii, czyli metody leczniczej, w której głównym czynnikiem terapeutycznym jest morze oraz wszystkie elementy, które są z nim związane: morski klimat, woda oraz substancje pochodzące z akwenu tj. błota, muły, algi, wodorosty. Celem pracy jest dokonanie przeglądu głównych kierunków i metod leczniczych, jakie oferują wybrane uzdrowiska nadmorskie: Kołobrzeg, Ustka oraz Sopot z punktu widzenia terapii „thalasso”. W pierwszej części została przedstawiona analiza pojęcia talasoterapii oraz elementów ją tworzących. Przedstawiono aktualny stan bazy uzdrowiskowej, opierając się na literaturze, danych uzyskanych w miejscach praktyki dyplomowej. W drugiej części przedstawiono wyniki przeprowadzonych badań terenowych dotyczących rozpoznawalności terapii wśród przyjezdnych.
