Przestrzenny model strukturalno-parametryczny utworów jury i kredy w rejonie Bochni

Abstract

Exploration drilling, geophysical and seismic activity within area of the Carpathian Foredeep and the northern zone of the Carpathian overthrust, have provided rich material on variability of regional geological structure of the complex Mesozoic-Paleozoic Platform complex and its, Miocene molase cover, in the southern part of the Carpathian Mountains thrusted. Previously completed geological survey of the area largely exhausted the potential of conventional petroleum, however it is advisable to conduct further exploration work aimed at unconventional hydrocarbon exploration and development of geothermal exploration of the possibilities of the studied area. Model created in the Petrel required preparation and analysis of input data. The result is a working model of parametric structural Jurassic and Cretaceous in the region of Bochnia.

Prace poszukiwawcze, wiertnicze, geofizyczne oraz sejsmiczne na obszarze zapadliska przedkarpackiego oraz północnej strefie nasunięcia karpackiego, dostarczyły bogatego materiału dotyczącego regionalnej budowy geologicznej kompleksu mezozoicznegopaleozoicznego platformowego podłoża, przykrytego mioceńską molasą, w części południowej nasuniętym górotworem Karpat. Dotychczasowe rozpoznanie geologiczne obszaru w dużej mierze wyczerpało konwencjonalny potencjał naftowy, jednakże wskazane jest prowadzenie dalszych prac poszukiwawczych, mających na celu poszukiwanie węglowodorów niekonwencjonalnych oraz rozpoznanie możliwości rozwoju geotermii na wzmiankowanym obszarze. Model stworzony w programie Petrel wymagał przygotowania i analizy szeregu danych wejściowych. Efektem pracy jest model parametryczno-strukturalny utworów jury i kredy w rejonie Bochni.
