System informacji o archiwalnych mapach górniczych MICARIS - na przykładzie polskich salin

Abstract

Based on the Mine Cartography Information System (MICARIS), created at AGH-UST, the most important elements of this system were presented, including databases made according to a uniform pattern (Tab. 1) for each Unit possessing archive maps. The created files were then analyzed, checked and converted in the GeoNetwork XML program (Figs 1, 2) to .xml format and imported to MICARIS system based on the open source platform of GeoNetwork. An example of such a map in this system was presented in figure 3. In tables 2-4 and figures 2-4 the oldest mining maps were presented, referring to the exploitation of salt in Poland, starting from 17th century. Also a short characteristic of cartographic sets was given as well as the advantages connected with publishing them in the Internet.

Na tle opracowanego w AGH Systemu MICARIS (<i>Mine Cartography Information System</i>), przedstawiono jeden z jego najważniejszych elementów, jakim są bazy danych tworzone według jednolitego wzorca (Tab. 1) dla każdej jednostki, która posiada mapy archiwalne. Utworzone pliki są następnie analizowane, sprawdzane i konwertowane w programie GeoNetwork XML (Fig. 1, 2) do formatu .xml oraz importowane do systemu MICARIS utworzonego na platformie <i>open source</i> GeoNetwork. Wygląd przykładowej mapy w tym systemie przedstawia figura 3. W tabelach 2-4 oraz na figurach 2-4 zaprezentowano najstarsze mapy górnicze dotyczące eksploatacji soli w Polsce od XVII w. Podano także krótką charakterystykę zbiorów kartograficznych oraz zalety, jakie przynosi udostępnienie ich w Internecie.
