Porwaki wulkaniczne w obrębie tufów filipowickich na Kowalskiej Górze

Abstract

Badano litoklasty skał osadowych tkwiące w tufach filipowickich wieku permskiego w okolicach Krzeszowic. Litologia badanych klastów odpowiada profilowi litostratygraficznemu brzeżnej wschodniej części GZW: dominują okruchy wapieni i dolomitów oraz skał ilasto-mułowcowych, w podrzędnych ilościach występują klasty skał krzemionkowych i piaskowców. Stwierdzono w nich występowanie przejawów metamorfizmu termicznego. Klasty dolomitów zostały w części przeobrażone w skały serpentynowo-kalcytowe. W klastach skał ilastych i mułowcowych zaobserwowano blastezę muskowitu, częściej biotytu, a sporadycznie również kordierytu, przez co skały te uległy przekształceniu w łupki plamiste i gruzełkowe. W wapieniach stwierdzono jedynie rekrystalizację kalcytu, a z kolei w piaskowcach i rogowcach zmiany barwy na czerwoną lub brunatną związane z utlenianiem substancji węglistej i związków żelaza do formy hematytu i/lub goethytu. Jednocześnie w badanych klastach skał osadowych (w przeciwieństwie do klastów porfirów i tufów) nie zaobserwowano zmian hydrotermalnych związanych z powszechną kalifikacją otaczających tufów, co być może przemawia za tym, że proces ten miał miejsce przed erupcją tufów, w komorze magmowej.

The lithoclasts of sedimentary rocks in the Filipowice tuffs of the Permian age near Krzeszowice were investigated. The lithology of the studied lithoclasts corresponds to the lithostratigraphic profile of the marginal eastern part of the GZW: dominate fragments of limestones, dolomites, shales and mudstones, in minor amounts there are clasts of cherts and sandstones. In them, there were signs of thermal metamorphism. Litoclasts of dolomites have been partially metamorphosed into serpentine-calcite rocks. In the clasts of shales and mudstones observed recrystallization of muscovite, more often - biotite and sporadically - cordierite, which resulted in metamorphosis these rocks into spotted and knobbled schists. In limestones only found recrystallization of calcite, on the other hand in sandstones and cherts note changes in color to red or brown associated with the oxidation of the carbonaceous substance and iron compounds into form of hematite and/or goethite. In the investigated clasts of sedimentary rocks (in contrast to porphyry and tuff lithoclasts) no hydrothermal changes associated with the common callification of surrounding tuffs were observed, which may confirm that this process took place before the eruption of tuffs, in the magma chamber.
