Wpływ dawnej eksploatacji rud cynku i ołowiu na aktualny stan środowiska naturalnego w gminie Trzebinia

Abstract

The aim of this work was an attempt to assess the impact of the heaps of the former operation and metallurgy of zinc and lead ores on the current state of the environment in the municipality of Trzebinia. For this purpose, 13 soil samples were collected, both from mining waste dumps and post metallurgic. The study of the chemical and mineral composition of the material accumulated in dumps have shown that post-mining slag heaps associated with the operation of zinc and lead ores are less harmful to the environment than post metallurgic. Another phase composition of heaps post metallurgic and associated with it high concentrations of heavy metals cause severe anomalies of the metal content in the vicinity of the heaps.

Praca prezentuje próbę oceny wpływu hałd po dawnej eksploatacji i hutnictwie rud cynku i ołowiu na aktualny stan środowiska naturalnego w gminie Trzebinia. W tym celu pobrano 13 próbek gruntu pochodzących zarówno z hałd pogórniczych jak i pohutniczych. Badania składu mineralnego i chemicznego materiału zgromadzonego na hałdach wykazały, że hałdy pogórnicze związane z eksploatacją rud cynku i ołowiu są mniej szkodliwe dla środowiska naturalnego niż pohutnicze. Inny skład fazowy hałd pohutniczych i związane z nim wysokie koncentracje metali ciężkich powoduje silne anomalie zawartości tych metali w okolicy tych hałd.
