Apotropaiczne rzeźby kamienne w architekturze Krakowa jako walor turystyczny

Abstract

Podejmując się tematyki apotropaicznych rzeźb kamiennych w pracy zaprezentowano przegląd części z tych znajdujących się na terenie Krakowa. Wyjaśniono znaczenie rzeźb apotropaicznych, przedstawiono charakterystykę budulca użytego do ich wytworzenia. Przygotowano także opis cech fizycznych poszczególnych rzeźb oraz podano ich dokładną lokalizację. Praca zawiera propozycję szlaku geoturystycznego prowadzącego od rzeźby do rzeźby, a także materiały dla celów wypromowaniu dla turystyki w postaci tablicy geoturystycznej, folderu oraz kart do gry miejskiej. Zaznajomienie się z tymi walorami pozwala stwierdzić, że drzemie w nich potencjał geoturystyczny i po odpowiednim zagospodarowaniu mogą one stać się przedmiotem zainteresowania dla turystów zaciekawionych tematyką geologii miejskiej, historią sztuki, architektury, rzeźby, surowców skalnych, a także budowli sakralnych i ich powiązania z wierzeniami ludzi w nadprzyrodzone moce drzemiące w kamieniu.

Writing master’s thesis about apotropaical stony sculptures, the authoress presented an overview of sculptures within the city of Cracow. The authoress explained the meaning of apotropaical sculpture and presented the characteristics of building materials. She also prepared a description of the physical characteristics of individual sculptures and gave their exact location. Master’s thesis include proposal of geotouristic trial from sculpture to sculpture and moreover: the project of geotourism board, geotourist leaflet and geo-cards to urban game which help promote trial for tourists.
