Sufozja i sposoby jej zapobiegania

Abstract

W pracy inżynierskiej przedstawiono proces deformacji filtracyjnej, jakim jest sufozja. Szczegółowo opisane zostały rodzaje sufozji oraz kryteria jakie muszą zostać spełnione, aby proces mógł zaistnieć (kryterium geometryczne oraz kryterium hydrodynamiczne). Praca porusza także zagadnienia związane z obszarami zagrożonymi występowaniem procesu sufozji oraz skutkami jakie mogą powstać w jej wyniku. Zaprezentowano również metody zapobiegania sufozji. Dodatkowo opisana została katastrofa zapory Teton, której bezpośrednią przyczyną było wystąpienie procesu sufozji w rdzeniu zapory.

The dissertation thesis presents the filtration deformation process, which is the suffosion. The types of suffosion and the criteria that must be met are described in detail to allow the process to occur (geometric criterion and hydrodynamic criterion). The work also addresses issues related to areas threatened by the occurrence of the process of suffosion and the consequences that may arise as a result. Methods for the prevention of suffosion have also been presented. In addition, the Teton dam disaster was described, the direct cause of which was the occurrence of the suffosion process in the core of the dam.
