Ocena geologiczno-gospodarcza złoża węgla kamiennego „Chełm II”

Abstract

The subject of master thesis was the geological-economic assessment of the „Chełm II” coal deposit, which is one of the eleven documented deposit in the Lublin Coal Basin. The deposit is located in the south – east part of basin, in the chełmski district. On the basis of the materials collected was assessed technical attractiveness of the deposit, emphasizing large resources of the deposit, and on the other hand - difficulties of geological and mining conditions for the future exploitation. It also highlighted the environmental conditions of the economic assimilation of the deposit. This allowed for predicting the coal-seam, which have the greatest exhibit features for their development by traditional exploitation methods or using underground coal gasification.

Tematem pracy magisterskiej była ocena geologiczno–gospodarcza złoża węgla kamiennego „Chełm II”, które jest jednym z 11 udokumentowanych złóż Lubelskiego Zagłębia Węglowego. Złoże to zlokalizowane jest w jego południowo –wschodniej części, w powiecie chełmskim. Na podstawie zebranych materiałów dokonano oceny tzw. atrakcyjności technicznej złoża, podkreślając z jednej strony duże zasoby złoża, a z drugiej – utrudnienia związane z geologiczno–górniczych warunkami przyszłej eksploatacji. Zwrócono także uwagę na uwarunkowania środowiskowe przyswojenia gospodarczego złoża. Pozwoliło to na wytypowanie pokładów, które w największym stopniu przejawiają cechy umożliwiające ich zagospodarowanie tradycyjnymi metodami eksploatacji lub poprzez podziemne zgazowanie węgla.
