Geologiczne uwarunkowania rekultywacji wyrobisk pogipsowych w rejonie Gacek-gmina Pińczów

Abstract

The aim of this thesis is to analyse the natural conditions of the reclamation of the former gypsum mines in the area of Gacki in the Świętokrzyskie Province. The area of investigations is situated in the territory of Nida Basin, where the deposits of the Cretaceous, Tertiary and Quaternary build of this structure. The reclamation of gypsum deposits the “Gacki- Krzyżanowice” took place in 1985-1990. The lie of the land was improved by profiling the slopes and levelling the floor. The lowest part of excavation has been filled in with water and the slopes have been covered with bushes and trees. At the same time, an additional aim of the reclamation was to indicate the scientific values of geological denudations on the one hand, and to add recreational and scenic values to this area on the other hand. The reclamation of this area has proven to be an appropriate choice, as the former excavation is now a tourist, recreational as well as research and educational area.

Celem niniejszej pracy jest przeanalizowanie przyrodniczych uwarunkowań rekultywacji dawnych kopalń gipsu w rejonie Gacek w województwie świętokrzyskim. Teren badań znajduje się na obszarze Niecki Nidziańskiej, a w jego budowie uczestniczą utwory kredy, trzeciorzędu oraz czwartorzędu. W latach 1985-1990 została przeprowadzona rekultywacja złoża gipsu „Gacki-Krzyżanowice”. Polegała ona na odpowiednim ukształtowaniu rzeźby terenu przez wykonanie profilowania skarp oraz niwelowania spągu. Najniższą część wyrobiska wypełniono wodą a na skarpy wprowadzono krzewy i drzewa. Jednocześnie podczas rekultywacji starano się wyeksponować z jednej strony wartości naukowe odsłonięć geologicznych, z drugiej nadać temu obszarowi walory rekreacyjne oraz krajobrazowe. O trafności przeprowadzonej na tym obszarze rekultywacji świadczy fakt, że dawne wyrobisko jest dziś atrakcyjnym terenem turystycznym, wypoczynkowym, a także badawczym i dydaktycznym.
