Petrological research on Triassic deposits that were created within the Upper Cap of Kłodawa Salt Dome, led to a detailed petrographic description of the collected samples and allowed to determine the origins of their formation. During macroscopic and microscopic characterization of the studied Triassic rocks, i.e. sandstones, mudstones and claystones, numerous concentrations of organic matter were found. The presence of a carbonaceous substance meant that the samples were subjected to Raman spectroscopy tests. The results obtained in the form of Raman spectra were described and interpreted, which in turn allowed to determine the temperature to which the Triassic sediments were exposed.en
