Analiza wydajnościowa wybranych planistów w systemach z jądrem Linux

Abstract

Tematem pracy było zbadanie wydajności wybranych planistów działających w obrębie jądra Linux. W tym celu przygotowano autorskie testy wydajnościowe obciążające planistę systemowego. Zbadana została wydajność domyślnego algorytmu szeregowania procesów w jądrze Linux, czyli planiste CFS oraz rozwiązania konkurencyjnego - algorytm MuQSS.

The subject of this thesis was to examine the performance of selected Linux kernel schedulers. In order to do so performance stress tests have been prepared. Results for two schedulers were compared - default algorithm for scheduling processes in the Linux kernel - CFS and the competitive solution - the MuQSS scheduler. Tests were run on two competitive solutions: default algorithm for scheduling processes in the Linux kernel and the MuQSS scheduler.
