Analiza głównych składowych dla profilowań geofizyki otworowej w utworach miocenu zapadliska przedkarpackiego

Abstract

Natural gas deposits of different size are located in the thin-bedded sandstone-shale Miocene formation of the Carpathian Foredeep. Interpretation of well logging data in such works is not an easy issue. A Principal Component Analysis for log data may be useful in the issue of a preliminary grouping of logs and can assist the comprehensive interpretation of well-logging. The first stage of analysis consisted of reducing the number of measured variables, the profiling of nine to four major components. These components were linear combinations of standardized input data. In the first few principal components much of the information has been included, therefore, further components could have been neglected in the further analysis. The next step was to compare the results obtained with the results of the comprehensive interpretation of well-logging done with the use ULTRA program.

W cienkowarstwowych piaszczysto-ilastych utworach miocenu zapadliska przedkarpackiego zlokalizowane są różnej wielkości złoża gazu ziemnego. Interpretacja profilowań geofizyki otworowej w takich utworach nie jest zagadnieniem łatwym. Analiza głównych składowych w odniesieniu do profilowań geofizyki otworowej może być pomocna w zagadnieniach wstępnego grupowania profilowań oraz może wspomagać kompleksową interpretację profilowań. Pierwszy etap analizy polegał na redukcji liczby pomierzonych zmiennych, z dziewięciu profilowań do czterech głównych składowych. Składowe te były liniowymi kombinacjami standaryzowanych profilowań wejściowych. W kilku pierwszych głównych składowych zawarta została znaczna część informacji i dlatego też kolejne składowe mogły być zaniedbane w dalszej analizie. Następnym etapem było porównanie otrzymanych rezultatów z wynikami kompleksowej interpretacji profilowań wykonanej programem ULTRA.
