Warunki geologiczne występowania, skład cząsteczkowy i geneza gazu ziemnego wybranych złóż w utworach miocenu między Bochnią a Rzeszowem

Abstract

W pracy opisano warunki geologiczne występowania, skład cząsteczkowy i genezę gazu ziemnego dla wybranych złóż w utworach miocenu między Bochnią, a Rzeszowem. Analizy składu cząsteczkowego gazu ziemnego dotyczyły ośmiu wybranych złóż: Brzezowiec, Podole, Góra Ropczycka, Cierpisz, Kupno, Jasionka, Kąty Rakszawskie i Zalesie. Horyzonty gazonośne w obrębie tych złóż występują w utworach badenu górnego i miąższych utworach sarmatu dolnego. Są to głównie pułapki strukturalne w formie antyklin kompakcyjnych. Gaz ziemny zdominowany jest przez metan, którego koncentracje zazwyczaj przekraczają 90 % obj. Metan i etan został wygenerowany głównie podczas mikrobialnej redukcji dwutlenku węgla w morskim środowisku depozycyjnym, natomiast etan, także podczas niskotemperaturowych procesów termogenicznych. Gaz ziemny w obrębie omawianych złóż zawiera małe ilości azotu cząsteczkowego i dwutlenku węgla, które zostały wygenerowane zarówno w wyniku procesów mikrobialnych, jak też termogenicznych. Źródłem materii organicznej dla gazu ziemnego był kerogen gazotwórczy (typ III humusowy) z niewielką domieszką typu II (algowy).

In the present paper described the geological settings of natural gas reservoirs accumulated in the Miocene strata, presented results of molecular analysis of natural gas and to define origin of natural gas accumulated in the autochthonous Miocene strata of the Polish Carpathian Foredeep between Bochnia and Rzeszów. Analysis of the molecular composition of natural gas and geological descriptions concerned reservoirs like Brzezowiec, Podole, Góra Ropczycka, Cierpisz, Kupno, Jasionka, Kąty Rakszawskie and Zalesie. Natural gas is accumulated in structural traps shaped as antycline generated due to compaction. Natural gas is dominated by methane, the concentrations of which usually exceeded 90 vol%. Methane and ethane was generated mainly during microbial reduction of carbon dioxide in the sea environment, ethane also during the low temperature termogenic processes while propane is termogenic. Natural gas also contains small quantities of molecular nitrogen, carbon dioxide that were generated in microbial and low-temperature thermogenic processes. Natural gas was generated from III type of kerogen (humic) with additions of II type of kerogen (algae). For comparison, is described the results of molecular analysis of natural gas from the Paleozoic-Mesozoic basemend (Upper Devonian and Upper Jurassic) in the chosen reservoirs.
