Chlor i rtęć w węglu i możliwości ich obniżenia metodami przeróbki mechanicznej

Abstract

The paper presents the possibilities of reducing the contents of mercury and chlorine in hard coal using the methods applied in mineral engineering. In relation to those elements, their location in the coal structure has been characterized, together with their origin and forms of occurrence. Discussed also are the technical methods of reduction of these contaminants in coal using the gravitational separation, floatation, leaching and dewatering. The proposals presented may find their application in the industry and contribute to reduction of emissions of these substances very harmful to health and environment.

W artykule przedstawiono możliwości obniżenia zawartości rtęci i chloru w węglach kamiennych metodami stosowanymi w inżynierii mineralnej. W odniesieniu do tych pierwiastków scharakteryzowano ich miejsce w strukturze węgla, genezę i formy występowania. Opisano również techniczne sposoby redukcji zawartości tych zanieczyszczeń w węglach drogą separacji grawitacyjnej, flotacji, wymywania i odwadniania. Przedstawione propozycje mogą znaleźć zastosowanie w przemyśle i przyczynić się do zmniejszenia emisji tych bardzo szkodliwych dla zdrowia i środowiska substancji.
