Paper presents results of corrosion tests of packer fluid based on sodium chloride with anti-freeze additive - ethylene glycol. Experiments were conducted in simulated downhole conditions. Research results shows that ethylene glycol additive decreases corrosion rate, but still it is pitting corrosion and in low temperature thread-form corrosion also.Item type:Article, Access status: Open Access , Badania korozyjności cieczy nadpakerowych na bazie chlorku sodu w warunkach dopływu siarkowodoru(2005) Bielewicz, Danuta; Wysocka, Marta; Wysocki, SławomirThe authors present the results of experiments oriented to determining the corrosiveness of over-packer $Na-Cl$-based fluids, saturated with hydrogen sulfide, in the area of the BMB field, as well as the selection of the most efficient corrosion inhibitor. The experiments concentrated on the measurement of $H_{2}S$, pH and corrosiveness of over-packer fluids saturated with hydrogen sulfide at temperature 60 and 80 Celsius degrees. The experiments were conducted for two types of solutions: $NaCl$ and $NaCl+CMC LV$, with the initial pH mpos 10 and 12. Analogous experiments were performed for the above fluids after adding three corrosion inhibitors. The analysis of the results showed that the lowest corrosiveness in the hydrogen sulfide conditions at a temperature of 80 Celsius degrees was obtained for the $NaCl$-based fluid with CMC LV and admixture of the corrosion inhibitor ANTYKOR PP with the initial pH = 12.Item type:Article, Access status: Open Access , Badania laboratoryjne nad zastosowaniem nowego kopolimeru kationowo-niejonowego do płuczek HDD(2009) Wysocki, Sławomir; Bielewicz, Danuta; Wysocka, MartaOne of the most important in HDD technology is a drilling mud with specific properties. Investigation of starch onto agreement with norms API were moved also. Rheological properties and influence onto permeability of rocks were research. Investigations were moved in simulated downhole conditions. In tests dynamic HPHT filter press and ceramic filters (as a rock simulator) were used. Specific character of HDD caused specific parameters of drilling mud. This drilling method is utilized on terrains with roads, highways, railway tracks, canals, rivers, and highly urbanized areas, where direct pit under the ground is impossible. Trenchless technologies such as HDD have more advantages than the traditional methods. Not only do they shorten time necessary for dig-up, but also the pipelines used during drilling can be placed in any desired position under any territorial barrier. In addition, HDD does not disturb public transportation and most importantly, does not devastate the environment, which makes it the commonly used technology in the construction industry. Specific character of HDD caused specific parameters of drilling mud. Searching innovated solutions is important to fulfill increasing technological requirements. The article presents the final results of the technological parameters HDD mud, designed on bentonit OCMA, and modified by biopolymer PT 300308. Obtained results show possibility for industrial application.Item type:Article, Access status: Open Access , Flokulacja suspensji ilastych i płuczek wiertniczych z zastosowaniem nowo opracowanych flokulantów kationowych(2009) Wysocki, Sławomir; Wysocka, Marta; Bielewicz, DanutaThe authors present the results of lab tests on new synthetic cationic flocculants PT-floc-201107 which are used to reduce volume of bentonite suspensions and drilling mud. The optical method was used to investigate the mud flocculation process and moving time of the phase separation boundary. The lab tests indicated that the PT-floc-201107 polymers are suitable for phase separation of drilling mud and aqueous suspensions of silty minerals which are rather difficult to separate.Item type:Article, Access status: Open Access , New mud for UnderBalanced Drilling(2016) Wysocki, Sławomir; Gaczoł, Magdalena; Wysocka, MartaThis paper describes a research finding of drilling mud designed for UnderBalanced Drilling. The UnderDril mud formula is based on a low number of compatible components, therefore it enables uncomplicated adjustment of its technological parameters to specific conditions and contributes to the reduction of its application costs. Moreover, the UnderDril mud is composed of biodegradable ingredients, that results in a beneficial effect on the possibility of its utilization and simultaneously makes it hazardous free for the environment.The conducted research showed that the abovementioned mud can find an industrial application.Item type:Article, Access status: Open Access , Płuczka poliamfolityczno-potasowa na osnowie bentonitu niemodyfikowanego do przewiercania skał ilastych(2005) Wysocki, Sławomir; Bielewicz, Danuta; Strauss, Heike; Wysocka, MartaThe results of analyses of polyampholyte-potassium drilling mud with a double hydration inhibition system for drilling in clayey rock are presented in the paper. From this point of view drilling mud should have as little density and viscosity as possible and also minimal solid phase fraction. By the reason of the hole depth and geological conditions in the region it often occurs that maintenance of low density is impossible and drilling mud have to be treated with weighting materials. The process may cause change of mud rheological parameters and cause decrease of penetration rate. In case of weighted mud there is also a problem consisting in sedimentation of weighting material. During these project realization there was developed recipe of new mud for well completion with new PT-23 polymer. The next step was testing of possibilities of weighting the mud with different weighting materials: barite with grain size lower than 75 µm, barite with grain size lower than 25 µm, commercial barite, hematite, bridging agent M-25. Barite with grain size lower than 75 µm and barite with grain size lower than 25 µm were conditioned in water, then wet separated into fractions.
