Item type:Article, Access status: Open Access , Identyfikacja parametrów wpływających na efektywność drążenia wyrobisk korytarzowych w kopalniach węgla kamiennego(Wydawnictwa AGH, 2010) Sobczyk, Eugeniusz J.The work includes an analysis of heading development process in selected Polish hard coal mines. An analysis of average tunnel development face advance and cost was done for 838 headings driven in coal mines in the years 2003-2008. A new methodology for conducting development work efficiency assessments at hard coal mines was proposed. Two structural models of heading development work efficiency were determined: the first one basing on the achieved face advance rates, the second - on the achieved financial results. The results served to formulate aggregate indexes (Wp - aggregate face advance index, We - aggregate cost index), which comprehensively measure the influence natural hazards, deposit parameters and technological parameters have on limiting tunnel face advance rates achieved as well as on development costs. An attempt was made to calculate the optimal heading drivage rate at a minimum cost for each range of the efficiency index We. Average face advance and average face financial results were also described. In analysis a cost structure of heading development with the division into coal, coal-stone and stone face was taken into consideration.Item type:Article, Access status: Open Access , Mapping Groundwater-Potential Zones Using Geospatial and Decision-Making Approaches: Case Study of Ghiss-Nekkour Watershed in Northeastern Morocco(Wydawnictwa AGH, 2024) Mazzourh, Abdessamad; Taher, Morad; Ouhadi, Abdellah; Dakak, Houria; Dekkaki, Hinde CherkaouiAccelerated population growth has led to a heightened demand for water resources, resulting in a notable decline in underground water storage – especially in coastal areas. To effectively manage this crucial resource, the objective of this research work is to identify potential groundwater recharge areas in the Ghiss-Nekkour watershed using Saaty’s multi-criteria analysis combined with GIS and remote-sensing techniques. Initially, this work involved gathering spatial information that was related to the various parameters that govern recharge and express it in thematic maps: slope, altitude, geology, rainfall, soil, land cover, and drainage density. A reclassification was made according to their degrees of involvement in the recharge process by Saaty’s analytical hierarchy process (AHP); this was followed by a weighting of these parameters. These were subsequently integrated into a GIS in order to establish a map of potential groundwater recharge zones in the Ghiss-Nekkour watershed. The groundwater-potential map resulted in five classes: – good (165 km$^2$) and excellent (0.9 km$^2$) aquifer recharge potentials – situated in north and southwest portions of study area; – moderate (617 km$^2$) aquifer recharge potentials – located in western and southern parts of watershed; – fair (551 km$^2$) and poor (44 km$^2$) aquifer recharge potentials – located in central zone and southeastern part of Ghiss-Nekkour watershed. Field surveys that were conducted in November 2022 and October 2023 validated the obtained results.Item type:Article, Access status: Open Access , Metoda oceny możliwości prowadzenia odkrywkowej działalności górniczej oddziałującej na obszary Natura 2000(Wydawnictwa AGH, 2011) Ptak, MirandaThe development of opencast mining today and in the upcoming years will depend on the ability to solve conflicts connected with the impact of the exploitation on Natura 2000 areas. This new form of environmental protection, which was introduced into the national system on May 1, 2004, makes it necessary to include protective actions in mining projects to maintain the proper condition of natural habitats and of protected animal and plant habitats. The article presents the essence of the protection of Natura 2000 areas together with assumptions for the developed method of deposit classification - KZN200/mAHP. Simultaneously the article presents chosen deposits, exploitation of which affects Natura 2000 areas.Item type:Thesis, Access status: Restricted , Projekt i implementacja wielokryterialnej metody podejmowania decyzji Analytic Hierarchy Process(Data obrony: 2019-05-16) Wielosik, Marcin

In Morocco, the Rif regions are the most affected by these phenomena. Each year they cause enormous damage to the road network and infrastructure, especially in our study region, the province of Larache. The study region is subject to several opening up and road construction projects, which is why it is necessary to predict and identify the most vulnerable areas beforehand, in order to propose measures and techniques which are adequate for protection and reinforcement. The main goal of this study is to develop a susceptibility map to ground movements using a multi-criteria spatial assessment approach, and in order to reduce subjectivity, we have used a method for analyzing such complex decisions, which is the analytic hierarchy process (AHP) implemented in the geographic information system (GIS). Seven factors have been considered as conditioning factors in the occurrence of landslides, which are: lithology, fracturing density, slope, aspect, land use, density of the hydrographic network, and altitude. To verify the results obtained, we performed a correlation analysis of ground movements, already inventoried and verified in the field, with the susceptibility classes that were calculated. This analysis is accompanied by a statistical study.
