Wydział Geologii, Geofizyki i Ochrony ŚrodowiskaThis study shows analysis the protection of deep excavation slope, which was suggested by a designer. For a global slop stability there were used soil nails and slope surface was covered in the form of reinforced concrete panels. Theoretical part contains introduction of slope stability problem with a description of the methods, which were used in the following section. Furthermore, there is a soil characteristic located on the considered area. The author made calculations using software Geo5 to show reasons, why soil nails were chosen as the best protection. For the calculation the same parameters as in the draft regulations were adopted, obtained from laboratory tests. In order to compare outcomes few methods were used: Swedish method, Janbu method and Sarma method. Wydział Geologii, Geofizyki i Ochrony ŚrodowiskaKarpaty to obszar Polski najbardziej zagrożony powstaniem powierzchniowych ruchów masowych. Wpływ tych procesów na istotne znaczenie z punktu widzenia społeczności lokalnej, zamieszkującej tamtejsze tereny. W niniejszej pracy zawarto klasyfikacje powierzchniowych ruchów masowych w oparciu o różne kryteria. Scharakteryzowano metody zabezpieczeń skarp i zboczy, wskazując na ich zalety i ograniczenia. W oparciu o osuwisko w miejscowości Siercza przedstawiono projekt wykonania systemu zabezpieczeń zbocza. Jednocześnie do zaproponowanych rozwiązań wykonano analizę stateczności w programie Geo5. Wydział Geologii, Geofizyki i Ochrony ŚrodowiskaThis study shows different methods to secure stability of slope based on the size criterion of areas landslide. In the theoretical part the paper shows: problem of the occurrence of landslides on polish territory, the factors leading to their formation and several methods for slopes stability analysis. Due to the fact that the landslides in Polish territory are mainly made up of the sedimentary rocks „Carpathian flysch”, this paper describes first of all classifications of mass movements typical to flysch. The paper presents an example of selected geotechnical ways to security which were used for reconstruction of the national road No.: 941 Vistula-Istebna. Within the project using a computer program GEO5 analysis stability slope were made on a selected stretch of road no: 941. Main goal of stability analysis was to evaluate the accuracy of computational models selected by the contractors carrying out the modernization of national road No.: 941 Vistula-Istebna.
