Analiza oddziaływania transportu na środowisko na przykładzie rzeki Rudawa

W poniższej pracy zostały przedstawione wyniki badań nad kluczowymi zanieczyszczeniami, które są generowane przez transport. Obszar badań obejmuje trzy wyznaczone punkty na rzece Rudawa: na przecięciu ulic Piastowskiej i Emaus, alei M.F. Focha i Emaus oraz most na ulicy Kościuszki. Są to miejsca reprezentatywne dla rzeki Rudawa, gdyż charakteryzują się one największym ruchem ulicznym. Analiza została przeprowadzona dla czterech metali ciężkich: Zn, Cd, Pb, Cu, które są związane z oddziaływaniem transportu na środowisko. Przeprowadzona analiza wykazała zmienne zawartości metali ciężkich w badanych komponentach środowiska, którymi były pyły drogowe oraz chodnikowe, gleba oraz osady rzeczne.

Analiza zawartości metali ciężkich w pyłach drogowych pobranych w miejscowości górskiej Sromowce Wyżne

Tematem niniejszej pracy było określenie całkowitej zawartości $Cr$, $Cu$, $Ni$, $Pb$ i $Zn$ w pyle drogowym pobranym wzdłuż głównych tras komunikacyjnych w miejscowości górskiej, Sromowce Wyżne (10 punktów). Punkty poboru próbek położone były w obrębie większych ulic, które charakteryzują się różnym natężeniem ruchu samochodowego oraz w miejscach w niewielkim stopniu skomunikowanych. W pierwszej części pracy przedstawiona została charakterystyka metali ciężkich oraz szczegółowy opis obszaru badań. Źródło zanieczyszczeń to nie tylko spaliny, ale również pyły powstające w wyniku tarcia opon o nawierzchnię drogi, pył pochodzący z tarcz hamulcowych i sprzęgłowych. W tej części również przedstawione zostały dane związane z badaniami zawartości metali ciężkich gleb w tejże miejscowości. W drugiej części pracy przedstawiono pomiary natężenia ruchu drogowego w okresie wzmożonego napływu turystów. Na podstawie analiz badań metali ciężkich oraz zależności pomiędzy natężeniem ruchu a wielkością zanieczyszczeń określono wnioski zawarte w pracy.

COVID-19 and instagram: an analysis of an Ibero-American infodemic

Understanding the role of communication promoted by Ibero-American society during the Coronavirus pandemic is fundamental for building knowledge about the disease. In this scenario, Instagram occupies a privileged place, as it carries a diversity of possible languages. Furthermore, Instagram’s relevance in the social media landscape is growing. This article presents, from a study developed through big data analysis procedures, the first result of several that make up an international investigation on the subject. In the project stage, the quantitative volume of publications, the average publication per user and the participation of the different languages used in this analysis group were verified. It is hoped that further investigations can be developed based on the results presented here, especially due to the urgency of knowing the role of communication in the pandemic scenario in which we live.

The purpose of the present paper is to suggest a philosophical basis for reflection on the transmission model of communication. The article is a contribution to the discussion about the genesis of the concept of communication. It also attempts to specify the conditions that have to be met to identify the non-etymological genesis of transmission approach to the phenomenon of communication. The paper consists of four sections. The first one distinguishes between a »model of communication« and an »approach to communication«. While the second section examines the etymological and historical genesis of the contemporary term »communication«, it particularly discusses two metaphors on which the transmission model of communication builds: the »organic« and the »transmission« metaphors. The third section considers the basic elements of the Shannon–Weaver model of communication which is generally regarded as the very source of all communication models. The fourth section delivers a presentation of a philosophical perspective on the genesis of the transmission approach: Plato’s Phaedros, Scholastic semiotics, Descartes’ cogito and Locke’s empiricism are covered here. The most important conclusion that is drawn here has it that the philosophical perspective on the genesis of the concept of communication makes it possible to show that the category of transmission is inadequate for a serious reflection on the communication process.
