Rozmyte mapy kognitywne (ang. FCM - Fuzzy Cognitive Maps) są znanym narzędziem jakościowej analizy systemów wykorzystującym prostą reprezentację wiedzy w postaci grafu pojęć i zależności przyczynowych pomiędzy nimi. Ich zaletą jest zarówno łatwość gromadzenia wiedzy, jak i prostota technik wnioskowania bliska sieciom neuronowym. Celem artykułu jest opisanie eksperymentu polegającego zastosowaniu FCM dla analizy zagadnienia słabo poddającego się ocenie ilościowej, jakim jest prognoza rozwoju jednostek naukowo-dydaktycznych. It includes basic definition soft hat discipline. It also compares fuzzy logic arithmetic with the arithmetic of ordered fuzzy numbers in L-R notation. Computational experiments were based on fuzzy observation of the impounding basin. The results of the study show that there is a connection between the order of OFN number and trend of changes in the environment. The experiment was carried out using computer soft ware developed specially for that purpose.When comparing the arithmetic of fuzzy numbers in L-R notation with the arithmetic of ordered fuzzy number son the ground soft he experiment, it has been concluded that with fuzzy numbers it ispossible to expand the scope of solutions in comparison to fuzzy numbers inclassic form. The symbol of OFNflexibility is the possibility to determine the number that always satisfies the equation $A+X=C$, regardles soft hevalue of arguments. Operations performed on OFN are less complicated, as the yare performed in the same way regard less the sign of the input data and the irresultsare more accuratein the majority of cases. The promising feature of ordered fuzzy numbers is their lack of rapidly growing fuzziness. Controlling of the logistics project is process of measuring progress toward an objective, evaluating what remains to be done, and taking the necessary corrective tasks to achieve or exceed the objectives of the logistics project. This paper describes the idea of logistics projects. The controlling of logistics projects is discussed. In the paper tools dedecated for controlling of logistics projects are presented. Scientists want to access their data as quickly as possible. Some experiments need to store a lot of data which have to be secure. By saying this we mean that this data can not disappear or be damaged also the data storage should be as cheap as possible. In this paper we present an approach to the automation of monitoring and management of data storage. We introduce a knowledge based system which is able to manage data, i.e., make decisions on migrating data, replicating or removing it. We discuss some of the existing solutions which are popular on the market. In this paper we aim to present our system which uses such AI techniques like fuzzy logic or a rule-based expert system to deal with data storage management. We exploit in this system a cost model to analyze the proposed solutions. The operations performed by our system are aimed to optimize the usage of the monitored infrastructure.Item type:Article, Access status: Open Access , Dynamic fuzzy model for detecting verbal violence in real time(Wydawnictwa AGH, 2022) Campos, Obed; Pancardo, Pablo; Hernández-Nolasco, José AdánThe crime rates in Mexico have been increasing in recent years, every day, there are reports on social media and in the news where assaults and verbal aggression by criminals can be seen. Public transportation units suffer from violence that authorities have not been able to reduce despite their efforts. This is why we have developed a fuzzy logic model that can adapt to almost any scenario thanks to the dynamism that we have implemented in each of its stages. We have obtained promising results that we believe will be of great help to the authorities for detecting the exact moment in which verbal aggression that is typical of a violent assault is happening in real time. This is a tool to help the authorities, not a substitution, we are simply making use of the latest technologies that are available to us. The goal of this paper is to provide a novel method for Mexican authorities in Mexico City in order to help the actual surveillance systems make faster decisions about whether violent assaults are happening or not.Item type:Article, Access status: Open Access , Koncepcja wspomagania analizy ryzyka za pomocą logiki rozmytej na przykładzie zagrożenia wyrzutowego w kopalni węgla kamiennego(Wydawnictwa AGH, 2008) Skoczylas, NorbertThe work contains suggestions about the use of fuzzy logic in the issues connected with the safety of works in mining. There are still problems in this area. Description of these problems in a traditional manner with the use of mathematical correlation seems impossible in the nearest future. It is, therefore, worth applying different techniques of the phenomena and processes description, such as fuzzy logic. The author presents an expert system created on the base of fuzzy logic. It allows to estimate the risk of appearance of gas and coal outburst depending on the gas emission index and index of firmness. The controller is dedicated for the tower crane laboratory model. Its aim is to transport a suspended payload in a save way. All oscillations of the payload (caused by the crane movement as well as disturbances) should be dumped. The controller is realized with the labVIEW toolkits: Fuzzy Logic Toolkit, PID Control Toolkit. For construction purposes a typical Mamdani type fuzzy controller has been chosen. It is assumed, a structure of the controller is separated. In both cases the control is achieved using combination of several thrusters and rudders. All of necessary steps to reproduce the proposed solution have been included.Item type:Article, Access status: Open Access , The application of fuzzy logic analysis to assessing the significance of mixing parameters for the PM metal-ceramic composite(2007) Wojtaszek, Marek; Durak, JarosławAn attempt to implement the fuzzy logic to quick and economic analysis of the mixing process in two component system (alumina powder-ceramic fibres) was made. An experiment with composites made by the powder metallurgy method and the determination of its selected properties were carried out. To obtain samples cold moulding and coextrusion were used. The forming process was made with constant parameters of mixing and forming. The influence of fibrę volume fraction in the matrix on the selected properties and the microstructure of the product was investigated. Experimental results and experts' knowledge were the input information for numerical computations and were represented by linguistic variables, fuzzy sets and fuzzy rules. Obtained or estimated in such way information from the technical point of view must be treated as an incomplete and uncertain knowledge. It means the mathematical description verified by experiments is not available. This knowledge was used to analyse the mixing parameters by the fuzzy logic.
