Item type:Article, Access status: Open Access , Analysis of the Neogene Stretava Formation in the selected parts of the East Slovakian Basin(Wydawnictwa AGH, 2015) Ďuriška, IgorThe Lower Sarmatian Stretava Formation consists of clay-, sand- and gravel-sized deposits with volcanoclastics derived from the volcanic Slanské vrchy Mts. In the western margin of the basin, the formation consists of the coarse-grained deposits named as Košice Gravel, deposited in deltaic and inner shelf environment (Karoli et al. 1989).Item type:Thesis, Access status: Restricted , Geochemiczna charakterystyka utworów dolomitu głównego w południowej części platformy wielkopolskiej w aspekcie możliwości występowania złóż węglowodorów(Data obrony: 2014-04-16) Bilska, Paulina
Wydział Geologii, Geofizyki i Ochrony ŚrodowiskaThe thesis presents the results of geochemical characteristics of Zechstein Main Dolomite (Ca2) in the southern part of wielkopolska platform. Rock samples has been derived from 15 boreholes coming from paleogeographic zone of the carbonate platform slopes, the outer oolite barrier and the carbonate platform. The geochemical research has shown that the analyzed Ca2 strata is a source of hydrocarbons. Their potential is generally low, whereas it can locally increase to a satisfactory degree. The Ca2 formations contain oil-prone type II kerogen with an undefined amount of gas-prone type III and oil-prone type I kerogen. Its thermal maturity corresponds with the early and main phase of the “oil window”. The geochemical research has clearly proven that the analyzed Zechstein Main Dolomite can be a source rock for the hydrocarbon accumulations presents in the described region.Item type:Thesis, Access status: Restricted , Procesy naftowe w utworach starszego paleozoiku w rejonie Malborka i Kościerzyny - naftowy aspekt w analizie zrównoważonego rozwoju powiatów(Data obrony: 2014-07-07) Szmit, Michał
Wydział Geologii, Geofizyki i Ochrony ŚrodowiskaThis study presents petroleum processes in the Lower Paleozoic strata in the Malbork and Kościerzyna area. In this study used the results of geochemical research, which allowed to determine the amount of organic matter, its genetic type, and hydrocarbon potential and maturation of the Lower Palezoic source rocks. Next step was to perform one dimensional modelling, which allowed to indicate a quantitative characteristics of: time and depth of initiation and the end of generation and expulsion of hydrocarbons, level of kerogen’s transformation, hydrocarbon potential utilization, and the amount of generated and expelled hydrocarbons. The volume of accumulated hydrocarbons for each source rocks in Kościerzyna IG-1 well profile was showed as amount of generated hydrocarbons per total organic carbon content (mg/g TOC). Another important aspect was the analysis of the sustainable development in the districts which were studied. Petroleum aspects always bring a risk. The risk has been identified and it has been explained how these aspects can affect on the sustainable development of the districts, which contains hydrocarbons resources, capable to mine them.Item type:Thesis, Access status: Restricted , Sequence-stratigraphic analysis of the Košice Depression sedimentary fill and its implication for mineral exploration(Data obrony: 2016-09-22) Eged, Martin
Wydział Geologii, Geofizyki i Ochrony ŚrodowiskaThe analysis of seismic lines in the Kosice Basin showed several seismic units assigned to the Mesozoic and Neogene sediments. The geometry of Mesozoic units suggests that they represent individual duplexes of the Krížna nappe. The Neogene sediments are subdivided in several seismic units according to shape and geometrical characteristics of the reflexes. Based on the geometry of the reflexes several onlaps occurring in the Neogene seismic units were recognized. The points of the onlaps were main input into onlap plane construction in the Petrel. These planes are planes separating individual mapped seismic units.Item type:Article, Access status: Open Access , Significance of pressure solution structures analysis for fluid flow studies – examples from Struga-1 well (Zechstein Main Dolomite; W Poland): first results(Wydawnictwa AGH, 2015) Górka, Joanna; Świerczewska, Anna; Krzyżak, Artur TadeuszThe internal structure and composition of pressure solution structures are factors that may influence petroleum generation and migration (Hofmann & Leythaeuser 1995).
