    Content of the paper is focused around the theme of neutralizing pollutants and effective wastewater treatment in the food industry taking as an example OSM in Skała. The work includes the mechanisms briefly described the food industry wastewater treatment, both by mechanical, chemical, biological and physicochemical properties. It has been included a broader characterization of dairy wastewater treatment methods. Particular attention has been paid to the hydrofid method, which I think is the most effective. The paper contains a detailed description of the Regional Dairy Cooperative in Skała. Its location, wastewater management, wastewater treatment method, the analysis of indicators and assess the effectiveness of treatment.
