The identification may involve employing a modelling function, which allows also finding out about other properties of a given mechanical system. A modelling function constitutes a mathematical model for the relationship between the solids-joints interaction and the relative displacement and the relative velocity of the solids. This study aims at identifying a backlash by means of one-dimensional modelling functions that do not take account of velocity. The functions depend on the parameters determined during the identification process. Their values result from the similarity of signals being a response of the analysed real system and its mathematical model (i.e. its modelling function). The method does not require selecting signals; any signal representing the actual operation of the system will be applicable. Signals are analysed over a time period. A special form of the modelling function should permit determining the values of the searched parameters, i.e. the backlash.Item type:Article, Access status: Open Access , Identification of flexible structure model for piezoelectric vibration control(Wydawnictwa AGH, 2005) Gosiewski, ZdzisławModern structures are light and compliance. Therefore, they are strongly influenced by external and internal perturbations. To reduce the structure vibrations the active vibration controls systems are designed. When active control of flexible structures is sought, three items must be individually and simultaneously considered. 1) The creation of reduced-order models. 2) Placement of sensors and actuators. 3) Countermeasures for spillover. All these problems are particularly important in the case of active system with parameter-distributed piezoelectric sensors and actuators. The glued piezoelectrics and their amplifiers change the structure parameters and should be taken into account in the model of the open-loop system. In the paper we consider an identification method which leads directly to the reduced-order model of the open-loop system. Analytical and experimental investigations were carried out for flexible beam with fixed one end and with opposite free end. Piezoelectric strips were glued on both sides of the beam: one works as a sensor and second one as an actuator. It means that we have designed single input single output system. It is appeared that used amplifier works as a low-pass filter which cuts-off the high-frequency dynamic effects. The frequency response function (FRF) was recorded and model of open-loop system was adjusted to experimental results. Taking into account the theory of reduced-order model of flexible structures we can state that resonances are connected with poles while anti-resonances with zeros of system transfer function. The resonance and anti-resonance frequencies were used directly in the model while damping coefficients were calculated by using of the least-square sum method. In the next step some control laws were used to damp the vibration of the beam. The proper control law was chosen with help of computer simulations. The active control loop rapidly accelerates the vanishing of the impulse-excited transient vibrations of the structure. Experimental results confirmed the analytical considerations.Item type:Article, Access status: Open Access , Identification of physical parameters of rigid rotor in magnetic bearings(Wydawnictwa AGH, 2006) Gosiewski, Zdzisław; Górmiński, MarekIdentification of physical parameters of unstable system, as magnetic bearing is, is an important problem, for example in the design of its diagnostic system. Most of the identification methods are applied for stable systems, without requiring feedback terms for identification purpose. However, for identification of marginally stable or unstable systems, feedback control is required to ensure the overall system stability. In many cases, a system, although stable, may be operated in the closed-loop, and it is impossible to remove the existing feedback controller for security or for production reasons. In diagnostic systems, there are usually observed trends in changes of physical parameters (e.g., mass, resistance, inductance, and so on). The physical realization is one of the possible system realizations. For any dynamic system, although Markov system parameters are unique, the realized state-space model is not unique. If one needs to compare the identified state-space model with the analytical model, both models have to be in the same coordinates. An identification method of the state-space model resulting from the physics laws is presented in the paper. The method is a modification of the OKID method and it works exactly in the case when the sum of the input number and output number eguals to the dimension of the state vector. There is no always possibility to measure the state vector, so for identification, it is estimated by deadbeat state observer. On the base of the reconstructed model it is possible to extract ARX model of observer/controller. This model is used to obtain the physical state-space model of the open-loop system for voltage controlled magnetic bearings. As a plant we consider a rigid rotor supported by magnetic bearings. The described method in easy way let us to identify physical parameters (e.g., mass, resistance, inductance, and so on) of the plant, which could be used in diagnostic system.Item type:Article, Access status: Open Access , Identification of the servo motor used in the walking robot(Wydawnictwa AGH, 2010) Piątek, MarcinThe paper describes the servo motor modelling and identification procedures. It is an important source of renewable energy and contributes to reducing methane emissions (a greenhouse gas). In this article, the implementation of an agri-gas plant-construction program was evaluated in individual voivodeships based on materials from the National Agricultural Advisory Center (KOWR), the literature, and statistical data. Based on the collected data, it was concluded that the most meaningful factors for the successful development of Polish agricultural biogas plants were biogas-production technology, substrate availability, energy prices from renewable energy sources, waste-disposal costs, the population density in a commune, and the allocation of places in local spatial-development plans. The DEMATEL technique was used to identify the key developmental factors. The results of the study provide useful information for both governments and local authorities in their searches for effective ways to drive the sector’s development.Item type:Thesis, Access status: Restricted , Identyfikacja i tłumienie refleksów wielokrotnych w procesie przetwarzania danych sejsmicznych(Data obrony: 2010-02-09) Budyn, Łukasz
Wydział Geologii, Geofizyki i Ochrony ŚrodowiskaThe subject of this master’s thesis is identification and suppression of multiples, typical form of coherent noise, usually present in seismic data. Identification of multiples is based on autocorrelation and retrocorrelation functions, in practice represented by sectional autocorrelogram and sectional retrocorrelogram. Suppression of multiples is achieved by two main groups of methods. First group contains filtering methods based on exploiting a difference between multiples and primaries, which is used to remove the multiples. This group contains such methods like: f-k filtering, Radon filtering and K-L filtering. Second group contains predictive methods based on prediction and subtraction of multiples from input data.Item type:Thesis, Access status: Restricted , Identyfikacja osób na podstawie analizy tęczówki(Data obrony: 2009-12-16) Mokrzycki, Jacek

Wydział InformatykiThis contribution focuses on a problem that appears when using a relay with non-symmetric output in the closed loop. Such a scheme is usually used for process model parameters identification, possibly followed by automatic controller tuning. Whenever static or dynamic properties of the process reveal asymmetry when the sign of the input changes, the setpoint (reference) becomes different from the operating point value of the process output. As a class of relay-based identification methods utilize calculations in the frequency domain that are based on integral computation around the operating point, the discrepancy between the setpoint and the operating point can lead to incorrect results. The aim of the paper is mainly to provide the reader with problem formulation and step-by-step proposition of how it can be solved. Concise numerical examples are also given. The concluding remarks suggest possible further ways of research.Item type:Thesis, Access status: Restricted , Pomiarowo-obliczeniowe wyznaczanie parametrów modelu maszyny indukcyjnej klatkowej(Data obrony: 2017-10-18) Małysa, Mariusz
