Item type:Article, Access status: Open Access , Difficulties related to the renovation of the reinforcement of the V shaft at PGG Oddział KWK Ruda Ruch Bielszowice(Wydawnictwa AGH, 2019) Płachno, Marek; Baranowski, Sławomir; Ośliźniok, IreneuszThe article presents an analysis of the possibility of carrying out repairs of shaft reinforcement without limiting its transport tasks, with operating parameters in accordance with the technical documentation of the shaft hoist, specified technical condition of the girders and guides, using the capital of knowledge and experience in maintaining the required level of safety for guiding the extraction vessels in conditions of the acceptable wear of guides and girders included in the mine shaft hoist documentation.Item type:Article, Access status: Open Access , Ocena rozwiązań projektowych likwidacji szybów zastosowanych w procesie restrukturyzacji polskiego górnictwa węglowego(Wydawnictwa AGH, 2009) Czaja, PiotrThe significant changes in the mining potentials of the Polish mining industry can be characterized by a substantial number of mines that were closed down and particularly by a big number of shafts that were liquidated. In the past 30 years 35 hard coal mines have been closed down, which resulted in the necessity to liquidate 392 shafts, including 41 shafts in metal ore mines and 7 in salt mines. The remaining ones were located in hard coal mines. Thus, in the past 50 years the Polish mining industry has been first the place of a massive construction of shafts and then of a similarly massive liquidation. Such experience should not be forgotten and must be passed on to the future generations of engineers responsible for the Polish mining industry. The paper constitutes a preliminary evaluation of the design solutions that were applied in this period of substantial transformation.Item type:Article, Access status: Open Access , The current condition and future of the «Wieliczka» Salt Mine(Wydawnictwa AGH, 2022) Malik, Jarosław; Kucharz, JanThe article focuses on matters related to the operation of the «Wieliczka» Salt Mine, outlining its activity in 2021 as well as the plans for the years to come. It describes the securing and accessibility activities carried out by the company. In terms of tourism, this is being reintroduced after the pandemic restrictions. It also contains a concise synthesis of the implemented protective measures aimed to limit the natural hazards and to ensure the safety of persons who remain in the underground excavations through proenvironmental measures. The article also presents the activities of the mine for the subsequent years of its functioning.Item type:Article, Access status: Open Access , Uwagi o projektowaniu technologii zamrażania górotworu dla potrzeb głębienia szybów(2007) Wichur, AndrzejDomestic experiences indicate that the method of rock mass freezing may be applied practically in all geological-mining conditions; the sole limitation here are the costs, which, in many cases, render deepening with this method uneconomic. The collected research results and the need for applying this technology substantiate the requirement of evolving refined principles of designing technologies of freezing the rock mass to deepen shafts in the conditions of water-logged overlay of considerable thickness. These principles ought to be based upon previously elaborated guidelines that had proved their suitability during the designing of the rock mass freezing in the conditions of the Lublin Coal Basin.
