Analiza gazonośności mioceńskiego złoża gazu ziemnego Lubliniec-Cieszanów na podstawie danych laboratoryjnych i geofizyki otworowej

This thesis concerns the analysis of Lubliniec-Cieszanów gas field which is located in the eastern part of Carpathian Foredeep basin. Analysis includes borehole geophysics data and laboratory data. Borehole geophysics data was analyzed using the program Petrel 2011. These data were used to separate prospective horizons and also to determine petrophysical parameters. Author characterized and analyzed the petrophysical parameters obtained from drill cores. There was realized compare of the gas flow from tested horizons and analyze gas and reservoir water. Gas horizons were correlated and characterized those in which the gas is documented.

Analiza geologiczno-geofizyczna anomalii sejsmicznych w utworach miocenu w rejonie Rylowej (zapadlisko przedkarpackie)

The thesis presents the problem of identification of seismic anomalies in the Carpathian Foredeep applying analysis of direct hydrocarbon indicators DHI. The influence of reservoir parameters on P-wave velocity (Vp) and the acoustic impedance was analysed together with the interpretation of well logs which allowed to draw conclusions on the absence of a clear correlation between porosity, shale content and Vp. Interpretation of seismic attributes and recursive inversion showed similarities between the tuning effects and gasification layers and revealed the effect of frequency shadow anomaly. The study also indicated the relationship between tectonics of the Sub-Miocene basement and the gas presence in the area of research.

Tematem pracy jest przedstawienie analizy warunków geologiczno - złożowych w obrębie złoża gazu ziemnego Nowosielec. Analizę tą oparto na charakterystyce budowy geologicznej ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem stratygrafii i rozwoju litologicznego profilu badanego obszaru. Przedstawiono historię badań, zakres wykazanych prac geologicznych, warunków ochrony środowiska oraz eksploatacji złoża. Pozwoliło to na obliczenie zasobów gazu ziemnego w obrębie tego złoża przyporządkowując je do odpowiedniej klasy zasobowości.

Analiza geologiczno-złożowa utworów autochtonicznych miocenu gazu ziemnego w obszarze Lubliniec-Cieszanów

Geological and reservoir analysis of Lubliniec - Cieszanów multihorizontal natural gas deposit, located in the NE part of the Carpathian Foreland. The deposit is associated with lifted base of Miocene formations. Data obtained during the recognition of the deposit enable to claim that gas trap structure creates compaction anticline formed above the elevated underlying formations. Structural variety of horizons caused that in the area of study three distinct structural elements could be specified: A, B and C with the extensiveness on NW – SE line. Accumulation of gas is related to Sarmatian sandy - clayey – muddy formations range from 320 to 600 meters below surface. In all, in the three elements of reservoir, about 243 million Nm3 of geological resources of methane - rich natural gas with C category have been documented. Recovery rate of the deposit is about 0.77. Based on that rate, it has been estimated that there is approximately 188 million Nm3 of C category natural gas resources. Deposit meets the viability criteria.

Analiza i interpretacja wyników powierzchniowych badań geochemicznych w rejonie złoża gazu ziemnego Brzezowiec (Zapadlisko Przedkarpackie)

W niniejszej pracy zostały przedstawione wyniki powierzchniowych badań geochemicznych przeprowadzonych na obszarze Zapadliska Przedkarpackiego w pobliżu złoża gazu ziemnego Brzezowiec. Badania polegały na pobraniu 157 próbek gazu glebowego z głębokości ok. 1.2 m wzdłuż wyznaczonych 8 profili geochemicznych (A-H) z krokiem próbkowania wynoszącym 100 m. Następnie zostały one poddane analizie chromatograficznej polegającej na oznaczeniu stężeń lekkich alkanów i alkenów. Analiza wykazała obecność anomalnych stężeń metanu i jego wyższych homologów, a także lekkich alkenów. Maksymalne wartości stężeń metanu, sumy alkanów C2-C5 i sumy alkenów C2-C4 wynosiły odpowiednio: 1433 ppm, 0,436 ppm i 0,174 ppm. Wyniki powierzchniowych badań geochemicznych zintegrowane z modelem geologiczno złożowym wykazały słaby związek zasięgu eksploatowanego złoża gazu Brzezowiec z rozkładem anomalnych stężeń węglowodorów. Jakkolwiek ich rozkład sugeruje obecność innych nie rozpoznanych wiertniczo akumulacji.

The theme of this paper is lithofacial analyze and reservoir conditions in the chosen deposits of Miocene Carpathian Foothills based on measurements of orificial geophysics and geological data. This master's thesis was based on the two boreholes Pogwizdow-2 Pogwizdow-3 located on the Pogwizdow bed. The paper consists of two parts. The first was described geological structure, presents the characteristic orificial geophysics curves occurring in the borehole. Summarizes the laboratory testing, analysis of cores and geophysical surveys. The second part analyzes the reservoir of the area under the geophysical curves, and describes the characteristic gas fields horizon which is located in two holes.

The area of the central part of the Carpathian Foredeep is an interesting and perspective region for prospecting of hydrocarbons. Researches are focused mostly on Miocene strata, however, in the last years, thanks to usage of new technologies in geology and geophysics Mesozoic strata has become interesting for exploration. This paper provides results of an analysis of hydrocarbon traps which can occur in the B-L area. The Miocene traps are mainly related to the tectonic dislocations, whereas Mesozoic ones, more widely discussed, are associated with the Upper Jurassic organic buildups, e.g. bioherms. Their interpretation and analysis is possible through the use of seismic attributes, as shown in this paper.

Analiza warunków geotermalnych w rejonie Rzeszowa

Niniejsza praca jest wstępną analizą warunków geotermalnych w rejonie Rzeszowa. Pozwala ona określić orientacyjny zasięg obszarów perspektywicznych oraz głębokość ich zalegania. W celu realizacji założeń pracy przeanalizowane zostały dane dotyczące temperatury, miąższości horyzontów wodonośnych, przepuszczalności, porowatości i mineralizacji. Na podstawie powyższych parametrów określono, iż najlepszymi warunkami charakteryzują się utwory miocenu w interwałach głębokościowych -1000 - -1500 m ppt oraz -2500 - -3500 m ppt. Dla nich analiza została poszerzona o określenie potencjalnych wydajności otworów. Zaznaczono, że interwał zalegający płycej powinien zostać wykorzystany w celach balneoterapii i rekreacji, natomiast zalegający głębiej - w celach grzewczych. Podkreślono znaczenie kaskadowego zagospodarowania ciepła w obu przypadkach. Za największą wadę badanego obszaru uznana została mineralizacja wód.

Analiza warunków strukturalno-litologicznych rejonu złoża gazu ziemnego Morawsko

Natural gas field Morawsko is located in Southeastern part of Carpathian Foredeep. Gas accumulation was in eight horizons located within sandstone-shale autochthonous Miocene deposits. Deposit trap has structural type. Horizons have anticline shape of run NW-SE, uncut by lateral fault. First well was drilled in the place where found seismic anomaly of bright spot and time sag type. It is multihorizontal, stratiform type of reservoir. Natural gas has a highmethane character with methane content 97,856-99,729%. Analysis of structural-lithological conditions prevail in Morawsko natural gas field area was conducted. Laboratory data, such as porosity and permeability with well-logging data were compared. In this thesis also used many cross-section in time which the most particular are bright spot and time sag seismic anomallies.

Analiza wpływu strefy przyotworowej na pomiary i wyniki interpretacji profilowań geofizyki otworowej na przykładzie miceńskiego złoża gazu Przemyśl

In the thesis there have been shown the influence of the nearbore zone on the results of well-logging. The research was made on the biggest Polish gas deposit Przemyśl, in the boreholes Batycze-1 and Batycze-2. Here, reservoir horizons are related with the thinly-layered Miocene formation of sandstone and shale. An impact of the invasion zone was shown by electrical log. Very helpful were also measurements made by induction tool HRAI, which were the base for the conducted analysis. In order to show the differences between invasion zone and unchanged layers, histograms of porosity and saturation were accomplished.

The work contains descriptive characteristics of the geological zone of the Carpathian Foredeep and natural gas deposits Rudka. The subject work is to analyze lithofacial and variability of reservoir properties of the gas reservoir zone Rudka. Based on collected data, depth of horizons and their gas reservoir parameters, determined according to the depth and the correlationbetween porosity and permeability and porosity. It was used to plotmaps through which an analysis of the variability of reservoir parameters are deposits of natural gas Rudka.

Atrakcje geoturystyczne w Nadnidziańskim Parku Krajobrazowym

W pracy przedstawiono najciekawsze obiekty geoturystyczne NPK. Chroni on unikatowe obszary zbudowane z mioceńskich osadów gipsowych, w których rozwinięte są procesy krasowe generujące niepowtarzalny charakter krajobrazowy. Obszar charakteryzuje się szeregiem atrakcyjnych odsłonięć skał gipsowych o różnym wykształceniu od gipsów laminowanych, kopuł gipsowych poprzez spektakularne gipsy wielkokrystaliczne w postaci tzw. jaskółczych ogonów. Najcenniejsze odsłonięcia są chronione w rezerwatach przyrody. Na obszarze NPK znajdują się również odsłonięcia mioceńskich skał wapiennych tzw. wapień pińczowski, znajdujących zastosowanie w licznych obiektach architektonicznych NPK m.in. zabytkowej kolegiacie w Wiślicy czy zabudowie architektonicznej Pińczowa. Obszar NPK bogaty w obiekty geoturystyczne nie jest dobrze zagospodarowany, ale znajomość obiektów i rezerwatów wśród mieszkańców jak wynika z przeprowadzonej ankiety jest wysoka związana silnie z poziomem wykształcenia co dobrze rokuje dla rozwoju turystycznego regionu w przyszłości.

Badania mezostruktur tektonicznych w kopalni soli »Bochnia«

The Bochnia salt deposit is located in front of the Carpathian overthrust, in the area of folded Miocene strata. The tectonic element in which the deposit is situated is called the Bochnia anticline. The structure of the deposit is complicated due to intensive tectonic deformations and different mechanical properties of rocks which build the deposit. Effects of these processes can be observed in mine's workings, where many tectonic mesostructures, such as slickensides, folds with boudinage, tectonic breccias, and systems of fractures in claystone filled with fibrous halite occur. Tectonic mesostructures were measured in accessible mine's workings. The descriptive characteristic of mesostructures was also done. The impact of rocks' mechanical properties on the type and character of deformation was considered as well. On the basis of measurements, authors tried to characterize the direction of tectonic stresses which affected the salt series in the Bochnia area. Authors confirmed the S-N direction of tectonic compression but also indicated SW-NE deviation form the main direction.

Lower Campanian marls and marly opokas with cherts (»Bibice« borehole, Kraków vicinity) are rich in benthic forams (mainly Stensioeina and Gavelinella species) and rare planktic ones (Hedbergella). The overlying Miocene deposits (Kłodnik and Skawina beds), are developed as conglomerates (equivalent of fresh-water marls in Krakow region) which are completely devoid of microfossils, but younger clays are full of the Badenian forams.

Budowa geologiczna i techniki eksploatacji złoża w wyrobiskach nowej trasy specjalistycznej w Kopalni Soli »Wieliczka«

Since centuries the Wieliczka Salt Mine has been open to visitors. Many-year collaboration with the Polish and world universities and research institutes, and also growing popularity of the active tourism, led to the opening of undergrounds excavation chambers off the existing regular tourist route. In spring of 2009 the decision about preparing the route for the specialists' groups was made. The route illustrates different methods of salt excavation with interesting exposures of the salt deposit geological structure. Finally, the new ca. 3400-m long route leads along levels I, II and III of the central and eastern part of the mine. The paper describes geological and mining aspects presented to visitors. It also explains the hydrological conditions and presents attractive locations of the halite re-crystallization sites.

Najważniejsze spostrzeżenia udokumentowano fotograficznie i załączono do pracy. Na podstawie opisów odkrywek a także analizie literatury dotyczącej terenu badań przedstawiony został rozwój budowy geologicznej okolic Szydłowa. Określono również wpływ budowy geologicznej na krajobraz obszaru badań.

Budowa geologiczna rejonu szybika Tesch w Kopalni Soli Bochnia w świetle nowych danych

The ‘Bochnia’ salt deposit is located at the front of the Carpathian overthrust, in the miocen’s fold zone. It is a very valuable property to the observation of changes in geological structure of the deposit, which is the result of strong commitment to tectonic and geotectonic and contemporary movements. Conducted observations and analysis of selected elements of the geological structure in the pit’s ‘Tesch’ area led to a detailed description of lithostratigraphy and tectonics of this part of the deposit. Laboratory tests of samples of eleven tracks of evaporites and the pattern of the geological structure through the salt deposit around the ‘Tesch’ stairs, which was drawn based on 148 photographs of the mine’s walls, were the primary source of data of this study. The salt deposit in the pit’s ‘Tesch’ area has complicated internal tectonics and relatively monotonous lithostratigraphic structure.
