Wydział Geologii, Geofizyki i Ochrony ŚrodowiskaThe subject of the M.Sc. thesis was to analyze petrophysical parameters of rocks in six wells from the region of the Grobla – Uście Solne and Grobla Wschód – Rylowa 3D seismic data. The purpose of the analysis was to compare well and seismic data. Litology, velocity, bulk density, acoustic impedance and reflection coefficients models were created based on prior made analysis of well log data. Further, synthetic seismograms were calculated. Afterwards, 2D models were made, based on well correlations which was formed before along the selected profiles. Thanks to those models, it was possible to compare horizons created on the basis of well logging and layers found at seismic data.Item type:Thesis, Access status: Restricted , Modelowanie efektów zmian amplitudy z offsetem w rejonie zdjęcia sejsmicznego Łańcut-Kańczuga 3D(Data obrony: 2011-09-27) Szymczyk, Agnieszka
Wydział Geologii, Geofizyki i Ochrony ŚrodowiskaAVO (Amplitude Variation with Offset) method relies on following amplitude variation with offset which has been caused by the gas-saturated rock. It is used in sandy-clayey Miocene sediments for many years. The area of investigation which has been analyzed using AVO, includes the eastern part of the Carpathian Foredeep. It concerns the seismic image of “Łańcut- Kańczuga 3D”. Among all the available methods of interpretation, AVO analysis provides most of all information on the fluid type that saturates the pore space rock. An understanding of petrophysical rock properties is crucial to make a correct interpretation. A characteristic increase of amplitude in the AVO classification belongs to the third class. Modeling results have confirmed in two cases the exact location of hydrocarbon deposits.
Warstwy nachylone występują częściej w przyrodzie niż warstwy poziome i towarzyszą strukturom interesującym pod względem poszukiwania węglowodorów, np.: pułapki strukturalne, antykliny, wysady solne, itp.Item type:Article, Access status: Open Access , Natural gas resources and reserves estimation study for the commercial field B(2008) Grigoraş, Ioan DanThe paper has the following targets: the fulfillment of the first natural gas resources and reserves estimation study for the commercial field B, initial geological resources and reserves evaluation and classification in order to be confirmed by N.A.M.R., existent gas resources optimum production scenarios, Discounted Cash Flow analysis.Item type:Thesis, Access status: Restricted , Ocena efektywności transformacji Radona w systemie Vista(Data obrony: 2013-10-10) Lenckowski, Robert
Wydział Geologii, Geofizyki i Ochrony ŚrodowiskaThe main goal of seismic data processing is to reach the highest signal/noise ratio possible. Various types of noise tend to contaminate the registered wave field of which linear coherent events are the most persistent. Ground roll is a high-amplitude, low-frequency linear wavetrain travelling near the surface of the earth, capable of obscuring genuine reflections. A range of procedures is routinely applied to attenuate it of which the main emphasis was put on the Radon transform. A set of tests in the Vista processing software has been carried out in order to assess the effectiveness of three types of the transform (linear, parabolic and hyperbolic). The results were compared with those of some traditional approaches to ground roll removal. Hyperbolic Radon transform turned out to be the most effective.Item type:Thesis, Access status: Restricted , Określenie kształtu doliny polodowcowej w rejonie między Palenicą Białczańską a Łysą Polaną(Data obrony: 2010-10-06) Kubacka, Tomasz
Wydział Geologii, Geofizyki i Ochrony ŚrodowiskaThe theme of this paper was determine the shape of glacial valleys in the region between Palenica Bialczanska and Lysa Polana( Polish Tatra Mountains), using seismic methods. Seismic data have been analyzed from refraction profiling carried out in 2005 and 2009. Later data have been correlated with the seismic reflection data and on this basis was a partial model of glacial valley in this area. Also performed multi-channel analysis of surface waves (MASW) on one of the profiles on the basis of which specifies the quality of subsurface layers.Item type:Article, Access status: Open Access , Próba wykorzystania analiz amplitudowych zapisu sejsmicznego do określenia własności zbiornikowych dolomitu głównego(Wydawnictwa AGH, 2005) Pietsch, Kaja; Tatarata, ArturThis paper presents the application of seismic amplitudes analysis to characterization of the petrophysical properties of Main Dolomite in terms of hydrocarbons exploration. Seismic modellings were used as a support tool at the presented interpretation. Various variants of seismogeological models were constructed on the basis of well log analyses. Theoretical wavefield computed for the obtained models were a basis for further assessment of the causes of anomalous amplitude effects coming from the top of Main Dolomite. Moreover, this approach was useful for proposing the construction of amplitude filters used to reduce an undersirable tuning effect, which occurs in thin beds formations. The obtained results were helpful in the analysis of registered data from 3D seismic survey in Cychry-Namyślin area (Geofizyka Toruń Ltd. 1998).Item type:Article, Access status: Open Access , The North European Platform suture zone in Poland(Wydawnictwa AGH, 2018) Golonka, Jan; Pietsch, Kaja; Marzec, PawełThe authors interpret the structure of the Central Carpathian-North European plates suture zone in Poland, where three main Carpathian tectonic units: the Central Carpathian, Pieniny Klippen Belt (PKB) and Outer Carpathian are present. In general, the PKB follows this zone. Several deep bore-holes were drilled in this region and the seismic lines were tied to bore-hole data and geological maps. The Polish PKB belongs to the complex geological structure stretching from Vienna in Austria to Romania. The rocks included in the PKB tectonic components were deposited within the paleogeographic realm known as the Alpine Tethys, mainly during the Jurassic-Early Cretaceous times. Both strike-slip and thrust components occur within the Polish section of the PKB. The strongly tectonized, few kilometer wide PKB zone is limited by a flower structure marked by two major faults, linked to the strike-slip zone. These faults reach the North European Platform (part of the North European Plate). The flysch sequences, arranged into a series of north-vergent thrust-sheets, constitute the main component of the PKB in the survey zone. They contain olistoliths, which are mainly Jurassic-Early Cretaceous in age. The PKB tectonic components of different age, strike-slip, thrust as well as toe-thrusts and olistostromes are mixed together, giving the present-day mélange character of this belt, where individual units are hard to distinguish. Two olistostrome belts (mélange units) exist within the PKB structure. The seismic lines show the Central Carpathian Paleogene rocks covering the Paleozoic Central Carpathian Basement south of the PKB. The Subtatric covers the High-Tatric autochthonic and allochthone rocks. The Central Carpathian Plate is thrust over the North European Platform in the Podhale region. The allochthonous Outer Carpathians consist of several nappes (thrust-sheets) verging northward. They are thrust over each other and over the North European Platform which dips gently southward.Item type:Thesis, Access status: Restricted , Transformacja krzywkowa w sejsmice(Data obrony: 2014-07-16) Szafrański, Dawid

The parameters were obtained by interpreting acoustic full waveforms using FalaFWS application of GeoWin system and based on calculations using the Estymacja program. The subject of the analysis were the results obtained from various lithostratigraphic formations in several Polish Lowland's borehole profiles sampled from surface to a depth of more than 5 km. The goal was to scale well log data of a high vertical resolution for seismic purposes. Average values of the elastic parameters were presented for units derived out of geological interpretation. The analysis also included calculation of the Q parameter, which is a measure of energy dispertion of elastic waves in a rock formation.
