In this study were tested twelve spa municipalities located in the Polish Carpathians. The research has been focused on analyze values of spa located in these municipalities. In order to verify the attractiveness of the spa municipalities used synthetic measure method. After cataloging spa values, spa municipalities were classified due to their attractiveness.

Analiza techniczno-energetyczna zagospodarowania dwutlenku węgla w uzdrowisku Krynica Zdrój

The increase of natural carbon dioxide's production demand imposes the necessity of improvement processes of gas' extraction, conditioning and disposal. The technical and energy analysis was executed on parameters that had been measured by triple-stage compressor in liquid carbon dioxide's plant in Krynica. The power and efficiency of the compressor had been calculated. The efficiency turned out to be very low and the compressor's has been done. The factor of efficiency of compression, increase over 80%. For decreasing cost of the carbon dioxide's compression, changes in technological scheme of installation have been suggested. Using additional double-stage compressor allows compressing part of gas that is destined for water saturation and therapeutic dry baths, only to 1 MPa. The gas destined for liquefaction will be compressed woth triple-stage compressor till 8.0 MPa. As a part of modernization there were introduced some changes in gas conditioning and its storage. The improved method of adsorptive sulfur removal from gas was used by taking impregnated active carbon and there was the membrane replaced in store tank - both acts have an effect on quality of taken carbon dioxide.

Development of the trends in Czech spas, with an accent on Russian spa clients

The Czech spa has a rich history and is based on the use of natural medicinal resources, with a significant share of direct medical care coupled with a comprehensive approach to treatment admissions. The trends set in Czech spas are affected more and more by foreign clients, which compensates for shortfalls of the domestic clientele. Russian guests are one of the most important groups of the Czech spa clientele. The article discusses the development of trends in Czech spas, with an accent on the Russian spa clientele. Trend analysis was carried out using the method of scenarios, where opinions of experts are compared with the results of surveys.

Pod uwagę wzięto walory wypoczynkowe, krajoznawcze i specjalistyczne, a także historię Uzdrowiska Swoszowice. Ostatecznie udowodniono postawione hipotezy, wysnuto wnioski oraz podsumowano całą pracę.

Fenomen Wysowej-Zdroju jako uzdrowiska, rola promocji

The main aim of the work is to show the phenomenon of Wysowa-Zdrój as a spa town. To achieve this aim a set of actions was done, including: an analysis of the literature materials, a survey, an interview with an employee from „Uzdrowisko Wysowa S.A.” and a representative from Ujście Gorlickie muncipality, as well as personal observations. A detailed analysis helped to establish that the phenomenon of Wysowa-Zdrój is achieved by proper usage of the natural qualities of the spa, creating tourism infrastructure, defining a profile of spa users and properly done promotion.

Ocena i analiza wykorzystania metody Kneippa w przedsiębiorstwach uzdrowiskowych regionu Małopolski

Autor opisał wyżej wymienione uzdrowiska i porównał je z obiektami, znajdującymi się na terenie Europy. Dodatkowo, praca zawiera opis metody Kneippa, filozofię na której się opiera oraz przedstawia produkty, które wyewoluowały z wyżej wymienionej metody Badania zostały przeprowadzone w dniach 26.04.2017 – 04.05.2017 roku. Metodą badawcza, zastosowaną przez autora był wywiad oraz jego własne obserwacje. Wyniki badań zostały przedstawione w formie tabelarycznej.

Writer made survey research on region also author contributed on own observation and interview with local community. The conclusion was reached, the research was analyzed, the most imported spa and tourist attractions were indicated.

Podzielona została ona na kilka części: walory uzdrowiskowe, wypoczynkowe oraz krajoznawcze. Każdy rodzaj walorów składał się z wybranych przez autorkę elementów. Wszystkie części zostały ocenione w specjalnie na tę okazję przygotowanej waloryzacji. Na końcu punkty uzyskane za poszczególne części zostały zsumowane i omówione.

Ocena walorów turystycznych i uzdrowiskowych gmin Augustów i Supraśl metodą bonitacji punktowej

The degree work centre upon description of the Spa communes Augustów and Supraśl attractivennes (valorisation). It uses the method of item bonitation which was created by Rogalewski. The first chapters represent the initial description of the degree work, they contain the admition, the work’s aim, the research questions, the methodology and the estate of the researches under the described communes. The consicutive chapters are the description of described communes attractivennes in terms of history, relaxation and sightseeing. They also describe contemporary achievements of the human in the field of the tourism and also specialistic values. Each chapter is ended by the arrays, which show the attractivennes of those values in the four degree scale. At the end of the work there is the result discussion, which sums up the whole collected material and contibutes the note of all the values in both communes.

The significance of therapeutic waters of Swoszowice, Krzeszowice and Mateczny in the development of spa tourism

Mineral waters have been applied for therapeutic purposes in Cracow since the fifteenth century. The complex geological structure of this area has had considerable influence upon various hydrogeological conditions. Sulphide waters in Cracow and in its vicinity are connected to the presence of gypsiferous formations occurring within the Miocene rocks deposits. Sulphide mineral waters help to treat such cases as: osteoarthritis, diseases of digestive system and nervous system, foodborne diseases, skin diseases, and illnesses of movument organs. The springs of those waters are located in a region that is particularly attractive to tourists. Both historical and natural attractions of Cracow and its neighbouring area create a big opportunity for further development of spa tourism there. This fashionable form of recreation may help old forgotten sulphide waters and Cracow health resorts revive their glamour.

According to the subject, the dissertation master's thesis is primarily proposed to create an innovative tourist cluster in the Kłodzko region, in the field of spa and religious tourism. Research questions and hypotheses were helpful in the creation of the cluster concept, presentation of the attractiveness of the whole region – including the description of the spa and religious places. In addition, research methods – literature analysis, own observations and oral interviews were used to develop the general characteristics of the area in relation to natural conditions, as well as to discuss tourist terminology.

Busko-Zdrój jest miasteczkiem o dużym potencjale turystycznym, na szczególną uwagę zasługują tutejsze zabytki, które są trwałym świadectwem jego bogatej historii.

W pracy dokonano analizy obszaru gminy Krynica-Zdrój pod kątem walorów i infrastruktury turystycznej i uzdrowiskowej oraz ruchu turystycznego. W pierwszym rozdziale dokonano opisu geograficznego gminy Krynicy-Zdrój, w którym oprócz podstawowych informacji o gminie zawarto opis rzeźby terenu, budowy geologicznej oraz zarys historyczny. W drugim rozdziale sporządzono waloryzację walorów turystycznych oraz uzdrowiskowych metodą bonitacji punktowej. Pod uwagę wzięte zostały walory wypoczynkowe, krajoznawcze, kulturowe, współczesnych osiągnięć człowieka oraz specjalistyczne. W kolejnym rozdziale dokonano opisu zagospodarowania turystycznego i uzdrowiskowego gminy Krynica-Zdrój. Analizie poddane zostały infrastruktura turystyczna i uzdrowiskowa, ruch turystyczny i uzdrowiskowy oraz poziom funkcji turystycznej i uzdrowiskowej Krynicy-Zdrój. Dzięki uzyskanym wynikom można stwierdzić, że Krynica-Zdrój posiada zarówno infrastrukturę turystyczną jak i uzdrowiskową na bardzo wysokim, wystarczającym poziomie, zarówno poziom ruchu turystycznego jak i uzdrowiskowego jest duży, dzięki czemu gmina ma duże szansę na dalszy rozwój oraz że w Krynicy-Zdrój przeważającą rolę pełni funkcja uzdrowiskowa. W dalszej perspektywie może to ulec zmianie dzięki planowi stworzenia transgranicznego Geoparku ,,Pieniny’’, który może wpłynąć w przyszłości na poprawę stopnia rozwoju funkcji turystycznej Krynicy Zdroju.

The purpose of present thesis was to inventory values of tourism and spa and to create valorization of Lądek Zdrój. The methodology on which the thesis is based on is method grading point. Method grading point was created by Teofil Lijewski, Bogdan Mikułowski and Jerzy Wyrzykowski. Another part of thesis is to rate the quality tourism and spa infrastructure in Lądek Zdrój. Analysis was created by use Adam Szromek’s indicators of tourism function.

Ustron is beautiful town located in Silesian Beskid. Apart from a many natural and cultural attractions, this area is characterized by large pools of thermal water, whiches are the basis for the of development of renewable energy sources. The healing properties of the thermal water are a positive influence on many diseases. Patients benefit from different treatments carried out on the basis of thermal water in the many spas located there. In addition to treatment, guest of spas can enjoy the tourist attractions located throughout the community. Hiking trails encourage to hiking and cycling tours. This paper thesis describes the geography, geology, topography and water relations of Ustron. Moreover, it also consists of information about accommodation, dining and transportation accessibility. The main objective of the thesis is to present the development of prospects of geothermal energy in the context of balneo-rehabilitation and recreation in the vicinity of the Ustron.
