This thesis is dedicated to a accurate specify of the selection of an appropriate method of subsoil strengthening. Various technologies of accomplishing the consolidation from years are used in civil engineering. Increasingly used, modern technologies are used in foundation. Rapid technological development in the last few years improved the performance of different methods of strengthening, which made the ground densification activities are becoming increasingly popular. The need to manage the economic aspects of technology strictly imposed in respect of geologicalengineering conditions and mechanical parameters values in your area. A key element in strengthening the subsoil is correctly diagnosis of ground and adjusted accordingly amplification method, in order to obtain the desired effect. Good solutions is combining techniques of strengthening with each other in simple way, but giving possibility to realistic design investment.

Work is devoted to clarifying the choice of the appropriate method for the preservation of the ground, depending on the prevailing geotechnical conditions. Various technologies are used for different mass movements. They are often used innovative solutions. The development of civilization and the continued expansion of built-up areas meant that methods of securing land are becoming increasingly popular. Additional factors are the economic issues and the speed of project execution. The most important element in the choice of methods for securing the site is accurate and correct identification of the area in terms of geotechnical. In order to achieve the desired effect often associated with each individual method.

Modern education faces challenges related to personalized learning and the development of key soft skills among students. In response to these needs, this article presents an analysis of the application of Virtual Reality (VR) technology in education as an effective platform to achieve these goals. VR allows the creation of realistic and engaging experiences, enabling the personalization of educational materials and tasks, while also supporting the development of soft competencies. Through virtual environments, students can explore, review, and make decisions during the learning process, thereby enhancing engagement and knowledge acquisition effectiveness. Moreover, VR facilitates the practice of interpersonal skills through interactions with virtual characters and simulations of diverse scenarios. The article also addresses challenges associated with VR implementation in education, such as costs, hardware accessibility, and the need for teacher training. Potential solutions to these issues are proposed, including funding opportunities, resource-sharing among schools, and teacher training programs. In conclusion, the article emphasizes the significance of further research and development in the field of VR in education to fully leverage the potential of this technology and contribute to better aligning education with the needs and abilities of students.

Kierunki rozwoju technologii wzbogacania rud w krajowym przemyśle miedziowym

Ways of implementation and suitability of world's recent developments in mineral processing of nonferrous metallic ores for Polish LGOM deposits have been analyzed in the paper. A great number of problems, which occur during processing of the Polish ore are similar to those appearing in other worldwide nonferrous ores. It includes depletion of available deposits and decreasing quality of the ores making them difficult-to-treat materials. As a result a continuous improvement of mineral processing plant equipment to the changing parameters of ore becomes crucial. There also is a need for introduction of new technological flow sheets that include a combination of flotation and chemical methods to effectively recover valuable minerals. A review of concepts of currently used types and amounts of reagents, and if necessary, their adjustment becomes a key factor of the efficiency of the process. An application of economically feasible new methods of tailing utilization and implementation of a simple supplementary processing step for flotation of tailing just before sending it to the tailing pond probably are also worth to be considered.

Możliwości redukcji emisji CO2 i jej wpływ na efektywność oraz koszty wytwarzania energii z węgla

In the paper the analysis of the projects dealing with the main technological solutions of $CO_{2}$ capture and storage were done. The following systems were discussed: - system of capture and storage of $CO_{2}$ in post-combustion, - system of capture and storage of $CO_{2}$ in pre-combustion, - system of oxy-combustion, - and co-combustion of coal and biomass. In the analysis were discussed: - influence of the chosen technology of $CO_{2}$ abatement on costs and energy effectiveness of electricity production, - influence of emission trading on economy of the different options.

Nietypowy projekt oraz technologia wykonania komory pomp na poziomie 950 m w KWK »Borynia«

Construction of the new mining level 950 m in »Borynia« Coal Mine caused that a new complex of headings of the main supply and drainage system must have been built. Pump Chamber is one of the headings of this complex. Taking into account both the heading section in the breakout which equals about 50 $m^{2}$ and the peculiar construction of the V36 support, the construction works of this chamber required preparation of atypical technology to drive this heading. In the article, the process of construction of the whole heading complex has been presented starting from the final stage of the bidding up to hanging over the finished construction to the Investor. Enterprise of Mining Works in Rybnik, which acts within Consortium of Polish enterprises for underground works and shaft sinking Join-stock company, was charged with this construction. All the stages of driving the pump chamber, made in a special lining - 6.5 m in width and 7.0 m in height, have been precisely described as the technology is unusual.

The master thesis is about analysis of environment state of the Rzeszów city area. Mainly focused on the atmospheric air and water estimation. Threat from noise and generated waste has been described. Benefits taken from natural environments by defined corporations has been presented. Moreover, information about ekological action has been inserted. Finally, occurs that industries are not mainly threat for natural environment of the city vicinity. It has been proved that the worst problem is surface and line emission.

Pozyskiwanie wody z gipsu w warunkach pustynnych

New technology of fresh water production at desert conditions where are present gypsum rocks was elaborated. The aim of the project is construction of cooling system of vapors obtained during the production of technological gypsum. Mentioned situation is present at West Sinai about 30 km to the South form Suez City. Proposed technology may help obtain thousand cubic meters of pure drinking water per year at desert conditions.

Rynek energetyki biomasowej w Polsce i na świecie

Wykorzystanie biomasy na cele energetyczne niewątpliwie jest stosowane na coraz większą skalę. Wybór odpowiedniej technologii do jej przetworzenia jest związany z zastosowanym paliwem oraz opłacalnością. W energetyce wykorzystuje się biogaz powstający w wyniku fermentacji odpadów organicznych. Wytwarzany jest na składowiskach odpadów, odpadów zwierzęcych w gospodarstwach rolnych, czy osadów ściekowych w oczyszczalniach ścieków. Obecnie w Europie biomasa spełnia najważniejszą rolę ze wszystkich odnawialnych źródeł energii, a w Unii Europejskiej - Polska znajduje się na szóstym miejscu pod względem wykorzystywania energii z biomasy i odpadów biodegradowalnych.

Stan aktualny i rozwój technologii i technik wiertniczych

The classification criteria of wells, where drilling technology and engineering activity is used, are presented in the paper. The newest technical solutions are surveyed in view of drilling rigs, design of drill bits, drilling fluids and casing. Some new drilling technologies enabling drilling with concurrent casing, drilling with reaming, and vertical wells designing, are presented further in the paper.
