Keywords as linguistic tools for information and knowledge organization
(Wydawnictwa AGH, 2017) Babik, Wiesław
Information and knowledge organization by keywords is presently effected in information and retrieval systems - not only in various taxonomic structures, but also in new structures of a folksonomic and ontological nature as well as mind maps. The need for a fresh look at keyword results from the new possibilities of document and information indexing, especially of social (collaborative) indexing, among others. This will require new research and scholarly reflection on information processing by both computer systems and the human mind. And this will, in turn, create the need to look at both information and knowledge organization and keywords in terms of the network organization of information and knowledge. This topic is current, owing to the application of keywords in the WWW system, subject indexes, OPACs, full-text systems, and digital libraries. The considerations are concluded by an attempt to answer the question contained in the title relating to the roles of keywords in information and knowledge organization for current information systems. This study has shown that, by using keywords, we essentially deal with a natural language in a meta-information function, not only with an artificial keyword language, -nomic systems based on hierarchy are usually strongly structured, while the systems that use keywords are hardly structured. Information and knowledge organization by keywords is frequently based on the indexing practice, which means that it is carried out bottom up (with classifi cation being a reverse process).

Parametric model of real estate valuation for land located in different land-use zones
(Wydawnictwa AGH, 2017) Bieda, Agnieszka
Various spatial planning conditions result in the establishment of lines delimiting specific land-use classes. These lines often cross cadastral boundaries. In this way, individual land properties may be located in different land-use zones. Since the land-use class is one of the attributes that signifi cantly influences the market value of real estate, it seems reasonable to verify whether the non-homogeneous land use of a property should be included in its valuation procedure in a special way. One of the options of special procedure in this case is dividing the transaction prices obtained for real properties similar to the one being valued (covered by different land-use zones) into components of those prices that correspond to fragments of the property that have different land uses. This procedure is made possible by some statistical models that can be used in a comparative approach. This paper aims to present the possibility of using a parametric model for the valuation of land properties located in different land-use zones and to verify whether it is reasonable to consider non-homogeneity in land-use classes when determining the value of land.

Management of seaport real estate stock in relation port - marine city
(Wydawnictwa AGH, 2017) Dawidowicz, Agnieszka; Klimach, Anna; Szpara, Agata
The issue of managing real estate seaport stock is multidimensional. The issue requires taking into account not only the location and economic factors but also the aesthetic. The aesthetic factor is closely linked to the behavior of spatial order in the port-city. The key task in this area is satisfied by the manager's seaports. In this paper, the authors analyzed the real estate seaport stock management system in Port of Gdansk (Poland). The system operates under different laws, in particular, the Act of 20 December 1996 on Ports and Harbors [2] and other. The aim of this article is to identify some activities of the Port of Gdansk Authority SA in the context of the Act on Ports and Harbors as they relate to the functionality of the management of the port real estate in the city of Gdansk as well as to identify factors that affect the current management of port real estate. Results of the analysis showed the procedures of the current and prospective resource management and the need to create a real estate stock management system. The authors pointed out the directions of sustainable management of the seaport real estate stock on the basis of the focus research. An innovative approach to this issue is to indicate the method of collecting data for the management of a specific resource that is a resource of port real estate. Port of Gdansk is a corporation that combines the duties of space management and conducts activities related to maritime transport.

Topological model of selected cadastral structures visualized in form of graphs
(Wydawnictwa AGH, 2017) Lisowski, Przemysław; Lewandowicz, Elżbieta
The collection of cadastral data is basic spatial data on the basis of which processes associated with land management are conducted. In these activities, it is important that the cadastral structures are in the mathematical-topological model. Such works were being done on the basis of existing geometric data sets and selected sets of attributes. The aim of the present publication was created during these works, concerning the assessment of topological structures of the selected object. The research was associated with the records of neighborhood relationships of selected cadastral objects in the graph model. The graph model of cadastral structures enables the visual assessment of parcel fragmentation. The topological model of these structures is heterogeneous, therefore, it is difficult to clearly and analytically evaluate the sets. The results showed diversity in the structure of the cadastral road parcels. The model was created in the graph database. The results enabled us to find places with a particularly high fragmentation of road parcels. These are places that have arisen in the process of creating roads or their modernization - widening. The conclusions from the research indicate the need of merging parcels owned by municipalities, counties, provinces, or the Treasury (Directorate for National Roads and Motorways). An analysis of cadastral data sets in other Polish regions based on the data visualized in Geopotrals confi rms the existence of unjustifi ed parcel fragmentation in areas of newly built roads. The existing situation forces us to search for the causes for the occurrence of such fragmentation and seek solutions to organize them. Our final conclusions indicate the need to perform mergers in these parcels. After arranging these structures, it is easier to interpret the results of a spatial analysis based on the underlying cadastral data, also, a cadastral map would be clearer.

Dimensions of destruction of road network providing access to cadastral parcels resulting from motorway construction
(Wydawnictwa AGH, 2017) Noga, Karol; Balawejder, Monika; Matkowska, Katarzyna
Issues specified in the study concern the evaluation of road networks providing access to cadastral parcels in villages divided by a motorway. The scope of the research involves a spatial analysis of three villages: Rogoźnica, Rudna Mała, and Lipie, all located in the Głogów Małopolski commune, in the county of Rzeszów. Based on data from the descriptive and cartographic part of the Land and Buildings register, a detailed analysis was made of the spatial structure and road network providing direct access to cadastral parcels. The conducted research has revealed that the motorway as a linear investment has not only caused the destruction of agricultural roads in the existing agricultural area but has also destroyed connections between villages that have been shaped for centuries.
