Abstract

W dużych miastach zanieczyszczenie powietrza związane ze spalaniem paliw w pojazdach silnikowych może dochodzić nawet do 80%. Ogromna presja na środowisko, powoduje degradację i zakwaszenie środowiska, oraz może powodować negatywne zmiany w organizmie człowieka. Aby ograniczyć wpływ eksploatacji pojazdów silnikowych na otoczenie, wprowadzono standardy emisji spalin. Postęp w przemyśle motoryzacyjnym musiał sprostać wymaganiom, postawionym przez agencje ochrony środowiska. Samochody osobowe, wyposażone w instalację LPG potencjalnie emitują do atmosfery dużo mniej związków toksycznych, niż pojazdy zasilane paliwami tradycyjnymi. Kluczowe jest także zwiększenie świadomości kierowców, w kwestii serwisowania własnego pojazdu. Niektóre elementy technologiczne wymagają systematycznej regulacji, wymiany, lub regeneracji. Dobry stan techniczny układu zasilającego i wydechowego jest kluczowy w kontekście ograniczenia emisji spalin. The key is also to increase the awareness of drivers in the matter of servicing their own vehicle. Some technological elements require systematic adjustment, replacement or re-generation. Good technical condition of the supply and exhaust system is crucial in the context of reducing emissions.
