Abstract

W dużych miastach zanieczyszczenie powietrza związane ze spalaniem paliw w pojazdach silnikowych może dochodzić nawet do 80%. Ogromna presja na środowisko, powoduje degradację i zakwaszenie środowiska, oraz może powodować negatywne zmiany w organizmie człowieka. Aby ograniczyć wpływ eksploatacji pojazdów silnikowych na otoczenie, wprowadzono standardy emisji spalin. Postęp w przemyśle motoryzacyjnym musiał sprostać wymaganiom, postawionym przez agencje ochrony środowiska. Samochody osobowe, wyposażone w instalację LPG potencjalnie emitują do atmosfery dużo mniej związków toksycznych, niż pojazdy zasilane paliwami tradycyjnymi. Kluczowe jest także zwiększenie świadomości kierowców, w kwestii serwisowania własnego pojazdu. Niektóre elementy technologiczne wymagają systematycznej regulacji, wymiany, lub regeneracji. Dobry stan techniczny układu zasilającego i wydechowego jest kluczowy w kontekście ograniczenia emisji spalin.

Good technical condition of the supply and exhaust system is crucial in the context of reducing emissions.
