Abstract
The results of initial testing of Cracow silts and its interpretations clearly show this kind of soil are not described enough in the light of foundation design. This paper shows some interpretation's problems and the consequences of interpretation's errors coming from field investigations. This is the initial phase of research program, field tests and laboratory investigations will be extended.
Wyniki przeprowadzonych wstępnych badań pyłów z okolic Krakowa oraz ich interpretacja są przykładem niedostatku opisu tych gruntów w aspekcie ich wykorzystania do posadowień bezpośrednich. Artykuł ma na celu wskazanie niektórych problemów interpretacyjnych i konsekwencji błędnych interpretacji wyników badań polowych pyłów mimo ich dużej roli, jaką spełniają obecnie. Prace badawcze są w fazie początkowej i będą rozszerzone o kolejne badania polowe i analizy laboratoryjne.
