Abstract
The main specialist positioning systems used in offshore operations are described in the article. Their properties were analyzed as well as visualization methods of spatial information. Also ECDIS systems were compared to those used in offshore industry pointing the crucial differnces between them.
Artykuł wymienia i opisuje główne specjalistyczne systemy pozycjonowania wykorzystywane w przemyśle wydobywczym na morzu. Przeanalizowano ich właściwości oraz sposoby wizualizacji informacji przestrzennej. Porównano systemy ECDIS z systemami »offshore« wskazując na kluczowe różnice wynikające z odmienności ich zastosowania.
